- Following Chim's earlier interview with Pastor Makhado Ramabulana (follow link below to watch in case you haven't seen it yet) a lot of people have questioned if he is truly changed. Is he just out to make himself popular OR his he truly transformed? He has come out to expose out false prophets but how can we be sure of his story? What are the steps he took to be delivered? Chim confronts him with this questions.

Hi my name's Patrick It's crazy how much I can relate to this mans testimony.... I'm actually repenting of sexual sin, being a false prophet (was not really aware that I started giving into other spirits) and as I'm seeking the Lord to know Him I feel under attacks 24 7 like voices, convulsions, wicked thoughts, I'm actually a delivery driver right now... I realize I need help, I'm asking if you could pray for me that God would restore me daily just like He did with this man. God bless you all.
First I met a man that was delivered from false Christianiaty tonight at the beach and now I'm seeing this testimony I hope this is God's way of telling me that He can still restore me too.

I have never seen a video clip of pastor Ramabulana Makhado's prophesies and deliverances. Could he be lying??

I am not doubting his repentance but how did he become an apostle? What qualifies him to be an apostle? There are apostles, but many people are claiming the title of apostle and prophet without the fruit and immense suffering that goes with that title.
Apostles and prophets defend the true doctrine of Christ, His Kingdom and gospel and in no way seek to promote themselves. Their life is often characterized by much suffering for the cause of Christ and are hated by many for exalting Christ. The grace of God to be an apostle or prophet is humbling. We as Christians need to study the walk and life of the biblical prophets and apostles to see what these callings involve.

@@THEKINGADVISOR1 Your question brings to mind Proverbs 22:29, "Do you see a man skilled in his work? He will serve kings. He won’t serve obscure men." And if you read Exodus 31:1-6 about two very skilled men whom God used, I think you will agree that skill and excellence can be a sign of God's presence in someone's life.
Secondly, I would also say, that even though there are many "skilled" people in the world (who are not saved), yet they do not do their work as unto God, with the intention of pleasing God. Instead, they desire to please man. This results in "high quality" but very poor application -- kind of like rock stars who can play music well, but they are serving the wrong ends.
We know from Scripture that only those who are saved have the Holy Spirit (see Romans 8:9, Ephesians 1:13-14, and others). We also know from 2 Corinthians 13:5, that Paul says to the Corinthians, "Examine your own selves, whether you are in the faith. Test your own selves. Or don’t you know about your own selves, that Jesus Christ is in you?-unless indeed you are disqualified." So the question is, how does a person "test" themselves?
Peter lays down some groundwork by which we can make our "calling and election sure" (see 2 Peter 1:9). This basically means "proving" that we are actually saved. (Salvation is by faith, but the point he is getting at is to be certain that we really do have the Holy Spirit based on our willingness to actually pursue these things that he mentions, which all stem from character qualities.)
From verses 5-7, he writes, "Yes, and for this very cause adding on your part all diligence, in your faith supply moral excellence; and in moral excellence, knowledge; and in knowledge, self-control; and in self-control perseverance; and in perseverance godliness; and in godliness brotherly affection; and in brotherly affection, love." And he says, essentially, that this is (one of the main) bases by which we might "know" (or perhaps we would say, that others, too, might know) whether someone is genuinely saved or not.
It is hard to judge sometimes, because some people are very immature, but they are actually saved. Some newborn believers may be like that, while others not, and this could relate to different factors. But as one matures, there should be evidence of the Holy Spirit at work in the person's life.
If we look at what Peter wrote, I think it is clear that he himself is focusing on character qualities. And generally, that is what Scripture focuses on. The fruit of the Holy Spirit is no different (from Galatians 5:22-23, namely, "Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control"). So when Jesus said, "You shall know them by their fruit," I think it would be fair to say, "What character fruit is present?" Is the fruit of the Holy Spirit present?
Depending on issues that include wounded hearts, it can take many years to work out some of the "kinks" in our hearts, and God is continually refining us, drawing us closer to be like Jesus. The more we love Jesus, the more we will want to do well in our work, to ensure that God gets all the glory for what we do.
