Dear Carol, I think it's very likely that they bought you the mixer that goes with those accessories. I would wait a little while before you order one to see if it shows up
Whenever I moved with my cats, we would set up a litter box and food and water, also comfy cat beds, in a room and put them in there first. Shut the door and let them be while you move everything else in. That way they won't chance escaping while you're bringing in boxes, and they'll have time to calm down. Make sure some of their familiar toys are in there, and after you're moved in, spend time with them. I'd leave them in there for a day and then, making sure all exits are blocked and doors shut, let them out.
This Recky and Carol. Set up a room where you can close them in for a day or two, then let them explore the rest of the house in their own time. If you have all their familiar things, like cat beds etc, they'll be okay. This is not the time to change things. Keep using the litter box and feeding bowls they're used to at least till they feel at home in their new home
💙🇺🇲 It's been recommended that before you move your cats to a new home that you set up a separate room for them with their litter box, food/water bowls, and their sleeping beds along with a few of their favorite toys. Keep the cats in that room for at least 2 weeks before letting them have short (10 - 15 minute) supervised visits around the house. This will help keep your little ones from becoming too stressed out, and hopefully, they will not resort to marking their territory inside the house. It's a bit of work, but we all know how you two love your fur babies. 😊😊😊 ps- congratulations 🎉 on your engagement, and we are all so happy about the big move into your new home.😁 👏👏👏👏
I'm so sorry I didn't sign the Housewarming card, but it was so neatly closed that I knew I'd mess it up. I wanted to write how I felt about you but opening it would have ruined the card. I love you so much pray blessings upon your new home and life.❤
Good things happen to good people. Sometimes we forget that and sometime it happens when we need it not when we want it to happen! You two are good people. You bring joy to others!
I have a kitchen Aid and it's a real time saver, Christmas baking made easy. Also you can have the moms over and have a pasta party and make fresh pasta.
I to and moving! Though I have Lived all over the U.S.A.😅! When the depart date from 1 home to another gets closer and closer, it still Amazes me how Free I start Feeling to Get The He'll out of there!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!
Before the cats get to the house, rub the house down with your scent, use your dirty tshirts and pants, leave them inthe different rooms so theyll be comfortable with the scent of the house. This also works if they accidentally get out and get lost, leave a pile of dirty clothes on the porch so they can smell their way home, it really works. God bless y'all on your coming move
It's so great to see you guys receive so many wonderful things to help you get a fresh, new start in your new home. I hope the move goes well for you and the kitties.
Wooden cat book stand is to use in your kitchen. You use it to hold open your cookbook so you can read the recipe. It will also hold your tablet. They come in very handy.
You better start packing. It's not that long now. &it takes away some of the stress. Pack a necessities box, toilet paper etc., paper towel,& things needed for the first night etc. Lots of ❤️
Quite the haul! Can literally feel how excited Carol is to get started with her gardening. If you set up some shelving, heat mats and grow lights, you'll have starter plants ready to go in the ground come Spring. You're set with all those new tools! As others have mentioned, when moving cats, they need to be confined to a space, preferably away from the chaos. Just make sure the room doesn't allow for escaping, even a window. Bathrooms are sometimes a good option because they're easier to clean if they make a mess but not a good choice if you'll be using the room a lot. One of ours got into the ceiling in the basement and stayed there for days. It's amazing how capable they are at finding hiding places especially when frightened.
Kitties will be fine. Cats love having lots of space and they'll love it in the new place! Just start them off in 1 room for a week then slowly let them out and explore
Recky...the box cutter blade is actually 2 BLADES in one. Flip down the little lever/tab near the blade, so you can take the blade out. Then you'll see...on the other end a FRESH cutting edge/blade! Just reinstall it, push the lever up and you're good to go!
Keep all the doors closed to the rooms you aren't using and limit their space until they get used to the new house. They are going to love all the extra space once they get used to it. We brought 3 cats back from Saudi Arabia to Texas. My mom brought a Siamese kitten from Thailand to Saudi Arabia and she was one of the 3 who made it to Texas. They will be fine as long as you are. 😎😎😎😎
That sign that says I still remember the days I prayed for the things I have now. I believe you slide the sign into the stand you don’t snap it in try sliding it.
I love all the gardening things… Carol, you will have no problem if you continue that video of people letting you know what works sometimes and what doesn’t work other times it’s a true love and it is very therapeutic
@31:30 I got that for my fur babies in April they loved them. I just threw the 3rd one away last week because my rambunctious boy bite and clawed a hole in the last one but they both really enjoyed them
The house card is a type of foldable scene. Foldable scenes are cards that unfold to put you into a movie, story, or season. I believe they are a new type of thing in America.
My friend works at Amazon and found a small kitten at work. It had. Broken leg. She took it to vet to get fixed and another friend adopted it. Don’t know if boy or girl. Makes me happy
I was was watching one of your videos the other day. You mentioned that Ricky and Carol are from different areas of Sweden and that is why you sound different from each other. You should Google American accents of each state and you will enjoy how different we talk. The southern states talk with a very strong accent!
We moved several times with our cats. One of them I had adopted in Illinois. We moved to Nevada, back to Illinois, then to Montana, then Italy, back to Nevada and then Japan and he adjusted really well to each move. Sadly he passed while in Japan at the age of 16 due to his age. We had one cat that we adopted in Illinois and when we moved to Montana, she hated it. We had to rehome her and she loved her new mom. Our cat Coco went from Nevada to Japan to Utah to Texas with no issues. Our cat Loki, whom we adopted a year after our Ozzy passed, went from Japan to Utah to Texas with issues at all. We did as others suggested and put their litter boxes and beds around. Made sure they knew it was their home. We also gave them treats and told them that they were good boys and girls. They had their favorite toys. Also, its a good idea to clean the house before bringing them in, to minimize any odors that might be there from previous pets. Good luck! I hope your babies are able to adjust with minimal issues! Wonderful video as always. You are one of my favorite channels that I look forward to watching. You both make me laugh, which is especially welcome on my bad days. Keep the videos coming! It is so wonderful to see how far y'all have come along. ❤😊
I believe the cat book stand is so you can hold your cookbooks open while you are cooking. It will keep them clean and clear of fingerprints and smudges when you want to refer back to the recipe.❤
Best thing to do in the move is put them in a room with their things until they get comfortable. We moved 12 cats via RV from NY to MN and they adjusted rapidly.
…moving cats…moving them in first or last, into a closed room, food, water, litter box, beds, cat tree…(no one opens that door until you double check all other doors are locked closed, and no one is going in and out any more that day.) when the moving is done, let them out on limited, controlled rooms (one additional room) at a time. It will take at least a week to let them explore each room of the house. This way you can watch their progress and introduce a new room when you think it’s time. Cats get overwhelmed, but they adjust quickly. Think of it like, it’s going to take you both, time to get use to the nooks and crannies of a new home, the cats are in the same boat. (indoor-outdoor cats) at least 7 days after they know the house, in the house, before you let them out. They need to know the sent of home before they go out. So this process can take a month or more (I’m an indoor only cat mom, so I should say, they have been in a month…keep them in). Just remember, it’s all new to them. If their cat mom didn’t teach them, they don’t know how to do it. (No such thing as natural instinct, it must be taught by their mother)
It's going to be fine but I wouldn't let them outside for a long long time. I know you miss Moa she was one in a million I miss seeing her ,she had to be special cause she wore that chef's hat. But I'm excited for your new house and the cats having lots of room to spread out
Just wanna add one more thing… Animals feed off of you so you need to stay calm and in charge. Keep them safe with all their goodies litter boxes in their own room They’re gonna be just great you have to stay calm
I moved numerous times with my cats. My male cat urinated in each home to mark his territory. Don’t think there’s anything you can do. If you have carpeting it will smell. Ask your vet if there’s anything you can spray or Google it to find out. Good luck !!
I had sent a lot of the gardening stuff through Amazon from your wish list. I got notice that they couldn't ship it and they gave me a refund. Was I ever bummed out. No explanation other then couldn't ship. So very sorry. Kathy Herreman
Oh no, thats to bad, glad you got refunded and thank you for trying 🌹 could you let us know what you tried to buy so we can add it back to the list? ❤️
Ok I'm gonna say this as a joke but hopefully the Swedish government doesn't raid their new house for all the Americanized things, cause were turning you all American lol
What a self-serving gift - accessories to a specific machine (stand mixer) that you know the recipient doesn't own. What a shmuck that person is, it's all about serving their ego and has nothing to do with the recipient of their 'gift'. It's not generosity and kindness that motivates this type of gift giving, it's ego stroking that they are after. They serve no one but themselves.
I enjoy your video's but it would be nice if you would donate a small portion of all of the money you get, to some less fortunate organization, like Shriner's, or Tunnels to Towers, Paralyzed Veterans of America. After all, most of your earnings from TH-cam are Americans...When you give back, I will donate to gofundme. You two are doing rather well with a TH-cam channel and their is nothing wrong about that but it's time you gave back don't you think? I'm not trying to be rude, and I'm sorry if you take my comment that way. I'm sure someone will say something rude to me but it's how I feel and you would probably benefit from that gesture of kindness...if you are already doing this, my apologies.
Dear Carol, I think it's very likely that they bought you the mixer that goes with those accessories. I would wait a little while before you order one to see if it shows up

Old southern wive's tale here, up in the mountains they say to butter a cat's feet in a new home and they'll never leave.

Here we send cards for everything. This one is for your new home. Welcome home!
Thank you so much for your wonderful gifts, we love it 🥹❤️
from what i am hearing Moa was not spoiled, she spoiled you both, that is so true of so many cats and their pets
I'm so sorry I didn't sign the Housewarming card, but it was so neatly closed that I knew I'd mess it up. I wanted to write how I felt about you but opening it would have ruined the card.

It was great and very thoughtful of you ❤️

Believe it or not but the Dandelion plant is good for alot of things. Good for your health.

That long tool with the two prongs it for pulling weeds so you can pull out the roots too. How fun for your gardening!

that forked curved garden tool looks like it's for weeding
that weird-looking gardening for is for popping weeds out of the ground.
they are called "acoustic panels"
You better start packing. It's not that long now. &it takes away some of the stress. Pack a necessities box, toilet paper etc., paper towel,& things needed for the first night etc. Lots of ❤️
I've learned watching this that there are products for literally all things lol
Yes the pots are from me. Sadly Temu doesn't let you put in a note.

That sign that says I still remember the days I prayed for the things I have now. I believe you slide the sign into the stand you don’t snap it in try sliding it.

Hello again from Oregon we hope today finds you and your loved ones healthy. May today bring you nothing but joy.
The house card is a type of foldable scene. Foldable scenes are cards that unfold to put you into a movie, story, or season. I believe they are a new type of thing in America.
Pop up books have been around for a very long time. I use to buy them for my nephew when he was a toddler. He’s 44 now.
Yeah definitely not a "new type of thing"
Great box! Those tee shirts are beautiful!!!
My friend works at Amazon and found a small kitten at work. It had. Broken leg. She took it to vet to get fixed and another friend adopted it. Don’t know if boy or girl. Makes me happy

Recky was joking but you can eat dandelions fresh or dried
I did as a kid! (Recky)
for pulling weeds
That pointed hand tool is a weed popper. The pointed gloves are so you can dig down in the soil.
Just wanna add one more thing… Animals feed off of you so you need to stay calm and in charge. Keep them safe with all their goodies litter boxes in their own room They’re gonna be just great you have to stay calm
Carol. At 23:28 saying "That's Puuuurfect" about the car book stand. 😻
Hi rekey and carol

So wait, did I just miss or did you guys actually get a KitchenAid? If not, please comment back and I am willing to get you one and send it to you.
We have one on the way, thank you 😊
🎉Carol now that u said u don't have a kitchen aid stand mixer someone will send u one
