that's an interesting insight, i've never thought about him this way but it is soo true. He wears super plain clothes and doesn't do any voodoo on the stage, but yet he's known as forest daddy xD. And it's so funny when other artists try so hard to have their own style with elaborate makeup and clothes and if you are a pure talent, you don't have to, nobody will even notice
And what I love about that is that he only has that vibe when performing. In interviews and such he just comes across as a very pleasant and rational person

yeah, songs like 'cherry wine' or run' are super dark and wicked. Once I read one funny comment that those songs just scream that he likes dominant women way too much (I can't remember how they said it but it was the conclusion xDDD)
Dude, Hozier seemed to be without patience to sing this song, and if he really was without patience then have more impatience, for I have never seen him sing this way, amazingly wonderful ... gave shivers!
