- We're back! We missed you guys! :)
It's been a long few months, full of work, Christmases, bad weather etc. We decided not to film and post videos just for the sake of "creating content", we've been waiting for an opportunity when we were actually doing something interesting.
The time has come, we're back to our favorite place in the world - Scottish Highlands. This time without the Nomad, but full of fun nonetheless.

Oh Man, you nailed it. A beautiful vid' shot in the world's most beautiful countryside. Our tourist board ought to pay you to use this to advertise Scotland. You made the hair on the back of my neck stand up and I live here and see it regularly. To see it through your eyes was brilliant. Your film making is second to none on TH-cam. So glad you are back.

We're you having trouble finding parts for the hiace? I can't understand.
I think it's an "LT" they are saying (Volkswagen LT). It's hard to hear clearly.

Hey, where are you around 13:30? Did you have much trouble finding isolated parts to park up? By using google maps and looking at forums it looks to me that it might be very difficult to find somewhere private to park up off road. Love the video it's the best coverage of a Scotland road trip I've seen
Thank you! We normally never ask, just park up, don't make too much noise, don't leave any mess and leave early. Never had any issues.

I had a Hiace, as well. And yes, it's a great, reliable car! Especially for camping.

Great van! I wish I could find a higtop 4x4 Hiace in Europe, any tips on where to look? I can only find standard hight here.

Absolutely love this! Me and my Fiancée are from Shetland (most northern Scottish isles) and are hoping to buy a van and convert it, then explore Scotland as much as possible hopefully this year! It’s so good to see what we might be getting in to 😁
Also, you HAVE to come to Shetland! It’s such a beautiful and friendly place 😁

Beautiful video and nice van. I have the 2WD petrol model and are so reliable that is hard for us to change it of a bigger van. Tasmania, where we live, is similar to Scotland lots of wilderness and all are close to home base.
I've been to Tasmania before and loved it. We're coming there with the camper at the beginning on 2020 if everything goes well.

Only stock 4x4 in the USA is the Mercedes Sprinter. I really wish we had some more options such as this Toyota Hiace. Looks like a great lightweight camper van for two people.
woolengrappler , You can get a Chevrolet Express full size van in 4x4. They also made the Astro van in 4x4.
And there's nothing wrong with the 4x4 Sprinter! Diff locks, plenty of power if you go for 3.0 Diesel
MudNomad no diff lock on the USA version, it’s an LSD diff
That's a custom high roof and how much solar do you guys have ?

Hi Tony, we love Ireland too. We've travelled extensively on Wild Atlantic Way twice. Stunning landscapes! And Galway in our opinion has THE BEST NIGHTLIFE in the world :)

The Hiace is a brilliant vehicle and in my opinion a fantastic choice for a campervan conversion. I will be sure to follow your channel.
Thanks for sharing so nice film. I have to fit a high roof in my Hiace Commuter
To be honest if I were to build/geta other camper, I would have gone for a low, pop up roof. So much more convenient and easier to drive.
If it is your city vehicle, I agree with you, I would go for a LWB VW with pop up if was my city vehicle, but because here in Tasmania I use it for my bush camping and the weather is cold for 9 months of the year I prefer hard roof.
