Do I need to get a iv light ?

Unless you can put your creation in direct sunlight for 10 or 15 minutes, then yes, a UV light is necessary.. It's also faster and more convenient.. however, the Miniverse kitchen comes with a UV light in the oven. It requires 3 AA batteries. This one does not come with one.
