People and tennis players HAVE to embrace the fact that tennis and sports is primarily first and foremost driven for the entertainment factor whether you play, do, or spectate a sport. So NOT being a showman or displaying your personality is contradictory to the WHOLE POINT of tennis. This is why Kyrgios is iconic. He has the 'badboy of tennis' label, he has beaten great players, he has also lost a lot, and even now, inactive, he is someone that is marketable because of the entertainment factor he brings to tennis. If you're boring, you better be putting up numbers, otherwise "who are you"?

He isn't giving himself high hopes. Doesn't sound much of ambitious to win GS. His goal in 5 years is to be top 5 or 10. Thats low. His attitude is similar to Kyrgious to have fun on court and get a limelight. He needs to think big, have a champion mindset and then you follow that. Look at the mindset of Carlos, Sinner, Medvedev, Tsitsi, Zverev, rublev. They are top 10 players because they have that winning mindset even though some haven't won big but they are there because of their winning attitude. Really don't see him going that far other than may be get into top 10 if he is injury free.
Tbf, he only decided to become pro this decade. All these top 10 players wanted to be a pro before their balls dropped. I think he will get more ambitious as he keeps playing on tour.
It's amazing that you manage to think this with players like Tsitsipas, Gaston, Paire and Kyrgios also on tour. All he does is celebrate loudly after a point, which is something that almost every player on tour has done...
