They are also dangerous because they are one of the most organized and singleminded clans, so you could very well go to war with every last Gangrel. Their strange mix of loyalty and abandonment makes them unique.

That's a good question. Gangrel have always had an independent streak to them, the lone wolf types and all. He gets into trouble, and causes trouble in his pursuit of knowledge. Because of that i see the clan as the whole not liking him, but since they have the independent nature, I never see them doing anything about it. And most individuals probably don't care. Some of the elders would. He asks too many questions and questions they wouldn't like explored. Again, though, gangrel nature can't be ignored, so I don't see them doing too much, unless the trouble around him messes with them or their power base. He is a very interesting case study for clan nature vs. personal nature. He is quite far from the gangrel mold
Gangrel is my favorite vampire clan ! Because they have always been on the outskrits , even when they were in the Camarilla . Really look in the Camarilla always prevailed Ventru or Toreadors .
Came across these pretty late but really love them. In your opinion which would be more terrifying. Pissed off Brujah or Pissed off Gangrel? These two are my favorite clans.
Hmm, good question. I would say on the surface the Brujah, because they might bring their friends, more then the Gangrel would, but when it comes down to it, depends on the vampire. Both can be physical beasts.
I struggle with figuring out what clan I'd reside. I seem to mesh well with clans: brujah (rebellion), gangrel (independence) , nosferatu (complete apathy of camarilla), malkavian (absolutely delicious insight and dissection of languages!) I don't particularly like clans: tremere (diablerie and secrecy), ventrue (pompous snobs), giovanni, and tzimisce (cause andrei is like an uglier version of nosferatu)
