I finally picked up a cassette rack for storing loose Genesis carts. It also works perfect for Master System and even Famicom games. Definitely buy one of you come across one.

I almost mentioned that but decided to just focus on the cassettes. Thanks for bringing that up! Pinned!

This is genius, as a kid I found an old cassette storage rack my parents had and we’re going to throw out so I just used it to store my N64 and GB, GBC, and GBA games. Never figured to use the actual cassette containers for the games, time to finish what I started, TY!

So I found that if you print using a Mac and opening the PowerPoint file in Keynote you should print to PDF first. Then open the PDF and in the print option of the PDF scale to 74% seems to fit the cassette cases perfect. Took me about 10 test prints to figure that out. Hope it helps others. Thanks for doing this video!!!!

Also you can get 3/4" felt furniture feet to cover the part you have to snip off. It looks a little better than a square cover and fits perfect over the spindle holder you need to cut off. www.amazon.com/Shepherd-Hardware-9861-Self-Adhesive-Furniture/dp/B00FFY9R0U/ref=sr_1_9?keywords=felt+feet+for+chairs+round+3%2F4in&qid=1558837413&s=gateway&sr=8-9#customerReviews

This is an awesome idea! I already use the "nail polish" stand for my loose TG-16 and GB/GBC games (as seen on My Life in Gaming).
This looks like the perfect solution to my loose GBA cartridges, which are too small to display on the stand.

We use Zippo acrylic display cases. Tobacco and cigar shops with Zippos get new cases and they just toss or store the old ones. We got the tall light up one that rotates and the top with Zippo on all sides can be covered in vinyl to say Nintendo!
Holds over 80 small carts for all GB ,DS,Switch, etc…

Just wanted to thank you for this video. I just recently started collecting a bit for the gameboy systems and needed a good way to display them. Your video is what made me settle on cassette cases and even better introduced me to your channel and then to the nespursuit which has kept me super busy watching videos. I made my own cassette rack out of walnut and maple and I'm super stoked on how it came out. Thanks again, really enjoy your videos.

You can also tear the pegs off by heating them with a lighter and then cutting them with scissors. Very easy, leaves little damage, just let it dry for a few minutes before getting the display ready. If there's no heat on it, the pegs will be very hard to cut/clip. Just some advice for people without clippers.

You can 3d print an insert for gameboy, gba, and color games to make them not rock around in it if it bugs you. Looks amazing especially if you go the extra mile and color coordinate the filament with the games case/art. Whatever you like

I've decidedd to go this route with my collection. I've just got some cassette boxes so far and I have to say, even without labels they look pretty baller (although of course you can't identify the game if you stack them up). Maybe because they look like how they encase games in retro stores in Japan, if you've ever seen that.
