- Arielle Dombasle and Don Johnson steamed with sexuality when they shared ice cubes in the hot Miami sun. The scene at the pool with Crockett gazing upon Callie is unforgettable.
From Miami Vice Season 2 Episode 12 'Definitely Miami': Crockett finds out first hand about Charlie Basset as a violent drug runner with an enticing wife that Sonny just can't get out of his mind.

This is a perfect example why MV was so incredible for a Cop show. 5 long minutes to let the viewer enjoy everything that Miami is all about: Beach, ocean, heat, hot girls and cool drinks. I'm still loving it. With this picture quality provided I wouldn't mind to watch all episodes of the first two seasons again. Beautiful.
I got the MV blu-ray dvd set, and sometimes on friday nights, I pop it in and it just takes
me back to my youth. Ahhhhhh I luv the 80's 😎

@chrisemerson7743 Remember, it's Miami pal, "Where you can't tell the players without a program."
Enjoy! 😎
I watch my dvd set to live the decade I was born in, and I'm glad it never disappoints!
"What took you so long?"
What an absolute lord.
And followed by the nearly blank stone wall stare behind glasses. Giving her away nearly nothing. ...Yes...Sonny was indeed a Lord....
@@krbrown948 imagine a guy saying this today ... she would start crying "me too" like a lil baby ... the world at that times was a better place to live for men AND women !!! in the 80s you could play games both enjoyed ;)
Whenever men see an attractive hot woman, this imaginary saxophone player pops up playing inside our brain.
Imaginary?? What are you talking about??? I've hired one to follow me around all day just for these occasions!
The sax player is anything but imaginary, he’s Gato Barbieri, legendary saxophonist who created seductive soundtracks, he did the score for the Marlon Brando film “Last Tango in Paris”.. seductive stuff 🔥
Not so much in 2022.

The 80's f-ing rocked...
This episode was way ahead of it's time...it aged really well...especially this scene.
Not really… same condo do go down this summer in Miami
@@DarkKnight-yz2wg I feel bad about that but...failing to see what it has to do with this scene or this show
@@ViceKnIghtTA Sayung it didn’t age well considering the recent events.
@@DarkKnight-yz2wg How do you know it was the same condo
@@ViceKnIghtTA Been there, have family there. You can see The North and West Champlain towers in the background.
" Sooner or later there's a cool breeze coming in" Words to live by
This episode had a great closing scene with intercutting with Tubbs with DEA and Crockett at the drop off with Callie drug dealer boyfriend. All set to Godley & Creme's Cry.
The best, one of the most perfect endings I've seen in a series that specializes in dropping bombs in the 3rd act
@Sane1 the song said it all for him
Yeah, but it watered down the audience's sense of justice when she happily went off and flirted with the police.
I love the camera work when Ted Nugent and Sonny meet face to face in the quarry, it just pans around Sonny as Ted Nugent slowly walks towards him.
Ladies and Gentlemen the lovely and talented Arielle Dombasle
tale***🤮
These guys were so cool without even trying. Just this scene being one of many on the hottest show on TV in the 80's. Miami Vice and Magnum, P.I. are the only shows I watched back then. Nothing else then, or even now, comes close to them.
It’s called genetics, the universe plays favorites with them. It definitely gives you cause to hate the universe.
I would never have been able to resist Arielle ;) In this episode you can see how to act cool .. Don Johnson is so awesome in this episode with his slow / thrifty acting (he practiced that). This scene explains the 80s perfectly :)
That's what women loved about the 80s, men were cooler then... played it cool in their handsome suits & jackets & loved the chase, unlike some of today's men ' alwite darlin fancy a dwink' 🤪😂
Series 2 Episode 13 Definitely Miami" - my all time favourite with Godley and Creme's Cry being the icing on the cake - oh for the 80s again!!
This entire episode is definitely Miami Vice! 😎
YESSSS I LOVE IT
Considering the episode is titled, "Definitely Miami," I should hope so.

"Don't worry, i'm immune!" too funny.
"Dont worry..I'm immune" yeah until you tasted her ice cube.
Yes, this pool scene with Crockett and Callie is unforgettable! ⛱
They are actually sitting at the same swimming pool that collapsed recently in summer of 2021. You can see the West and North Champlain Towers in the background. And here they talking about needing stability in their life - how ironic.
That’s crazy!
No way! is that the same one? Ironic, indeed!
Did Miami Vice do any investigation?
Not true. That building was a few miles north of here. This is now the Radisson Hotel
@@gsimms , you probably right, Greg. My mistake. I am from Baton Rouge, LA. But my Cuban grandparents lived in Miami during the 1980s in some apartments across a canal from Dade Mall. I remember it had two swimming pools and ducks.
I have never gotten over this scene. Arielle is so beautiful. I'm surprised that it didn't launch her a career in the US. Please correct me if I missed her elsewhere.
Lace probably
I was just listening to her in Les Grosses Têtes
You can see her in some french movies.

Yes, she played Agecanonix's wife in an Asterix movie and was in Un indien dans la ville
The renovation of Art Deco buildings in South Beach that was taking place at the time. This renovation trend is often said to be partially influenced by "Miami Vice" as, because from the beginning of this show, producers would repair and re-paint damaged buildings so that they would form an acceptable background to the footage they were filming. Other initiatives subsequently followed suit, eventually leading to the revitalization of the South Beach area.
This is one of the best episodes, definitely in my top ten!
Best scene the music, the girl, everything.
"Don't worry, I'm immune!" . . . . .classic
AND THAT is why Miami Vice was such a huge TV series success and cemented Don Johnson with his sexuality, good looks, trendy couture, and Ferrari's in the minds of Americans as to what was ultra-cool.
Of course, she was a Honey-pot being used to entice and snare SONNY BURNETTE. . . you'll have to watch the episode to understand why.
Arielle steals the show in this episode
Great episode. Definitly one of the best. And this scene at the Hotel was classic 80's Miami.
Godley & Creme song at the end is great
When I lived in Chicago, I watched Miami Vice. This episode came up and I said " One day I will move to Miami..." And I did!!! Excellent episode and thanks for the memories!
Nice nice how is it there?
The waiter should have been nominated for an Emmy. Good acting
This atmosphere and music was pure magic tropical magic.😎👑💎🤑
don johnson ruled the 80s along with philip michael thomas.
Don Johnson was so cool...that the PBA had a bowling tournament named after him.
The sunglasses are great
Miss this show so much. It was perfect to start off the weekend....miss the 80s
“Hottest day of the year” ~ and their hair and the vegetation around them is blowing in the wind haha…still totally and utterly brilliant though
yeah lived on SB for 8 years, 95 degrees in the shade, 100% humidity, even the breeze was hot.
IMHO This was one of the best-ever scenes in Miami Vice. SO much sexual tension. I wonder how many takes it took? LOL x
Love Miami Vice ❤. Love the 80's.
Definitely Miami,my favorite episode. The 2nd place finisher happens to be directed by the same dude,Viking Bikers From Hell...
A name ? Arielle Dombasle, a french actress. So beautiful when she was young.
Everything is more awesome when young...except the bank accounts and wine. They tend to get better with age.
You gotta fucking love the 80s.

they must have a hard time filming that show with that heat, even from just watching i can feel the sun burning my skin
A little tension never hurts anyone.
i remember about this episode of course with the only french actress of this serie arielle dombasle the atmosphere was very wet with strong heats cause during filming which passed the hurricane kate by south florida and delayed the show during one day on november 18 1985 caused damages

Today people can watch a scene for more than 20 seconds. This was the "good" time. People were more at ease, just sit down and enjoy the view.
The 80s were slow and people at that time could concentrate for more than 20 seconds before they need the next hit / event /scene :)
Vice City
Europa Gato Barbieri! Godley n Cream Cry at the End is definitely Miami.
You see that women Then hear her accent You better be saying Enchanté mademoiselle Je suis Sonny....Aint nothing better than showing a French women you can keep pace And one better than the other Americans...Even if your Canadian : )
She was putting in ALL the work. lol
Soaking a t-shirt in Perrier mineral water and putting it on after tanning -- was that a thing in 80s? What's the idea behind it? Does it moisturize the skin differently?
It moisturises it expensively
