    Liked your review and you’ve got me thinking about an estate rather than a SUV. Practical and cheaper to run.

    Good video , but having better stylish wheels would make this more appealing

    • @Mgoblagulkablong
      @Mgoblagulkablong ปีที่แล้ว

      you can easily change the wheels on literally any car...

      Bigger wheels may look more stylish, but they give a harder ride and worse mpg!

    I really like their adaptation of the Corolla estate -- it's on my list. Great review.

    Station wagons are great cars, cos they offer you car-like driving dynamics which I think are better than crossover SUV dynamics, they’re a bit more fuel efficient than crossover SUVs, and you get all the trunk space that you can ever get from a crossover SUV as well.
    But such vehicles are disappearing in many areas around the world as we speak due to many car buyers outside of Europe suffering from a condition called anti stationwagonism. For example, over in Latin America and South Africa, they associate station wagons with hearses, so they consider such vehicles uncool. But to me, I consider the opposite.

      Call them estate cars ,they may sell better.

    • @DaveDVideoMaker
      @DaveDVideoMaker ปีที่แล้ว

      @@toonmag50 First off, I call them station wagons if I want to, and second off, if every market calls them estates, that still may not convince people from buying such vehicles.

      These are considered taxi cars in Europe. Therefore pretty hard to get (6 months wait for my 2.0L Corolla), as they are very popular as city taxis and fleet cars. And I think the Manchester Police is replacing their fleet with them.
      Frankly, image shouldn't be an issue. It's good looking, a great everyday car, hopefully very reliable. I intend to keep it and maintain for at least ten years.

    Yeah. That's all absolutely fine. Wouldn't be upset to get one as a hire car. Can't think of a reason to spend my own money on one, though.

    Problem with hybrids as the batteries degrade the batteries + motor/generators become dead weight.

      but I know many Prius which are running fine and with little battery degradation for the lifetime of ownership... and now many companies are able to swap the batteries for newer tech too at lower costs than a new car.
