Dude that's a legitimate technique you can use to lure away the enemy from where you're heading... it's damn usefull, cos if you're going for a 'no traces' run, you can't interact with the soldiers in any way. This is how whole army get stuck, because of one man, who certainly wants his vehicle back, and refuses to serve without it. He has some principle, he is truck soldier, it won't work if he'll do things on foot...

Guys, russians are peculiar... they can try to steal a military truck in a small town, but then they stay there for hours questioning themselves whether they're doing right or wrong. And a radio operator can question himself for hours if the truck in front of him is the one he arrived in town with just 5m earlier. And Snake can try for hours to hop in a window without making it :D
