Grooming on a cat is actually normal it helps oil their fur and clean it cat's hate baths so you kind to have to let it groom itself or else you will be getting clawed at cause only time i saw a cat use water to clean itself was my cat licking water off his hand and drinking it then cleaning his ears with water from his paws.
