PLAYED BALL AND WENT TO SCHOOL , PLUS GREW UP IN THE HOOD WITH COACH ANTOINE THOMPSON. THIS IS MY BOY, DALLAS AS WELL. GREAT TO SEE BOTH OF THEM DOING WHAT THEY LOVE! MUCH LOVE BIG BROS
We have created a hostile culture when it comes to basketball, emotional games from city to city on all levels even on the rec ball ymca level. It’s not for everyone trust me.
Duncanville was one of the top teams in the nation last year in basketball. Some publications gave them the national championship. They played a national schedule and only lost 1 game. Texas always has a couple of team ranked in the top 25 despite not being dominated by prep academies and private schools like a lot of other states. They are known more for football but they probably are a top 5 state as far as basketball goes as well. They've gon on the road and beat enough elite teams from different states to drive that point home. Do you really know what you talking about?
@@businesstron Only two schools in Texas are nationally ranked and one is Dynamic Prep at #5. Plano East is the other. You say Duncanville was awarded a national championship? What year again was that? Since I don't know what I'm talking about...I can't seem to find it anywhere. No offense to anyone but texas is not known for powerhouse basketball. They haven't made one movie or documentary about texas basketball...even with KD going to texas.
@@TCook-yi4wu You pretty ignorant to be talking like you know about high school basketball. Duncanville was given the national championship last year by USA Today and the year before by Maxpreps. Last year there were 3 Texas teams in the top 25. Probably 5 or 6 in the top 50. They did similar the year before. No other state had more than two teams in the top 25 nationally. In all those other state it would be one public and maybe a private or prep school like oak hill. All of Texas schools were public . They prolly ain’t the best but they are a legit top 5 state as far as basketball goes. This is also a down year as far as the state goes but they still top 5. Football may overshadow basketball but that don’t take away from basketball too much. Those who track that type of stuff know.
There's a lot of talent in the state, and a lot of good teams. However, at least in the Austin area, it definitely feels like a step down from what I saw in Atlanta.
I love the coaches at the beginning
All love!

No offense to anyone...Texas is widely known for football...not basketball. I see the dominance doesn't translate to the hardwood.
