- The Boys are BACK, this time with a Demo to a 2D Horror Survival Game, with live action elements??
Tenebris Somnia is a horror adventure in the same vein as survival horror classics like Silent Hill or Resident Evil, but transferred to a retro 2D environment more typical of the N.E.S. or Famicom.
You will struggle to survive by solving puzzles and fighting horrible creatures.
The secret ingredient of the game is its cinematics. When you reach certain key points you will see sequences with a completely different aesthetic, made in live action with real actors and created by a professional film crew.

Is it weird that I got a bit emotional seeing this pop up in my bells? I feel like it's been a while since the boys have been back together and man have I needed a good laugh in a while. And of course, leave it to SGS to deliver in the first 2 mins!

Hell yes! A proper horror game! Don't get me wrong, I love me some RE4, but I've been waiting for you guys to get into some proper spoops again. I was literally just re-watching the Little Nightmares 1 & 2 playthroughs on your channel, and had just started re-watching the Soma series. Crazy to think the group has been around this long! Keep it up fellas :)

@@Gronmin I only recently found out there was a Little Nightmares 3 on the way too. I always thought they might round it out with a trilogy, but it's great to know for sure we'll see the SGS series :)

@@harrisonjones2013 Rewatching early SGS is such a trip, I was doing the same thing this morning, and there's such a different vibe between the early videos and these newer ones. XD
We need more SGS videos. There's a literal ass load of spooky games the team hasn't touched yet. Not to mention spooky games they did touch, but didn't finish... I don't know, maybe the SGS episodes are not popular or don't result in the right analytics to encourage more of them, but I love them.

OMG! I’ve always thought it would be so incredible to mix the different mediums to put into ago, like the blending old-school 16-bit RPG and live-action scenes! It makes the game feel so jarring in a scary way when they swap back and forth between the two. 😮💨 I am absolutely going to be getting this game when he full game releases!

It's nice to see the squad again, hope we start getting some more videos as so much has come out and been missed. We've got the Devil in Me from last year and now even Switchback for some VR Dark Pictures stuff, Killer Frequency has the full version out now and would work great for you guys, Bramble: The Mountain King is fantastic, Suffer the Night didn't turn out quite too good but Amnesia: The Bunker is decent and I'm sure there has been some more Dread X stuff for more goofiness too.
