- KERALA STYLE ULLI THEEYAL:
INGREDIENTS :
1. Shallots - 1 cup
2. Grated coconut - 1/4 cup
3. Dry red chilli - 3
4. Coriander seeds - 2 tsp
5. Jeera - 1 tsp
6. Pepper - 1/2 tsp
7. Curry leaves - few
8. Mustard - 1 tsp
9. Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
10. Salt - to taste
11. Tamarind - as needed
12. Water - as required
13. Coconut oil - 2 tbs

Where is the ulli in ulli theeyal? Ulli is garlic. We addgsrlic with red onions and get. Also add venthayam and fry a little before adding the puli water.
Sorry, ulli means onion in Kerala.. this s kerala dish.. in Kannada eerulli means onion, bellulli means garlic, in South tamilnadu specially Tirunelveli and Kanyakumari ulli means onion.. you go and search in google
