- Borewell Recharge can be recharged by digging a pit and installing scientifically designed filtration pipes and allowing the collected rainwater to pass through the pipes to allow the borewell to recharge. this will help not only to this borwell but also all borwell water level upto 3 KM.. This type of water harvesting should be made compulsory for every apartment beforehand and builder should make it and later people can maintain it.

I feel rain water harvesting idea is very great but so near to borewell is not advisable, it can 1) collapse the borewell if it not rocky area.
2) it can pollute the water table if the rain water is directly going to a borewell under use.
Natural filtering which happens in few hundreds of feet cannot be done with few feet of filter.
The idea of connecting complete terrace to rain harvest pit is very great but they should not dig a bore till the water table and keep it atleast 50% above it.
The pit with charcoal is good that can be as big as possible, which acts as tank till the water seeps Into the ground.

If you place a 600mmx600mmx5mm copper or G.I plate in this trench, you will get a very good Earthing for your building. For Electrical safety.

This will weaken the foundation soil..there must be solid concrete below.. brick wall to be constructed all around.then.. fill with filter material. Ensure water should not go down or sideways..
Absolutely Right !!! Initial Trench should be made with Concrete till the Bore well's PVC Pipe to ensure water seapage won't happen side ways and weaken the foundation of the Buildings

Yes, direct casing me water collect kar sakte hain lekin casing ke top par ek screen lga dijiye jisse ki impurities casing me na jane paye.rain water to already pure hota hai.ground surface par girne wale rain water me dissolve impurities jada hoti hain isliye harvesting pit necessary hota hai....

Hello sir i want suggestion about this idea.
Mere ghar 2 handpump h sahi h ek dry ho gya h water level syd down hone ki vjh se . Dono handpump ki distence8-10 feet hi hai. Aur 10 room ka ghar h uske Terris ke pani ko band vale handpump se kaise ground me daala jaye taki jo second handpump vo bhi band na ho.
Garmiyon me vo bhi paani km hi deta h .

Canal water flow waste lessly into river after fields irrigation can I put directly this water into borewell for two or three days , I think it will recharge more efficiently than rainwater becoz canal nozzle has 6 inch water flow so recharge of two or three days continuously provide water in summer season , I think so ,m I right or wrong ??
