Cost of one ring concrete 2(1/2) ft
250 x 5 ( ring) = 1250
Then cap = 450
(Pipe you required)
Pipe line 46ft =2500
Transportation charge = 250
Total cast = 4250 ( without labour charge)
Without the material cost inside the rain water harvesting.

Current situation this is the right method to save water.Dont believe dam water.This will be tried useless borewell also which has more than 500 ft,Water occumalation reduced and ground water level will increased.All are make more borewell but not recharge borewells.

Concerned about the surface water begin unclean, we can let go of first rain of the season which might carry lot of dust from terrace using a three way coupling. What Henning suggest is actually good idea but for those who do not have enough area in cities, they can go with what is done in this video

Fantastic idea. Just one query. After a year or so, the layer of sponge would get brittle and coir bag will decompose. Dust will start entering into the main line and will affect the borewell. Any idea on how to overcome this?
We should not use those material to wrap it. We should use mosquito net. Made of nylon material. I saw this advice from another video. We should not use cotton material or sponge . We should use nylon material for its life
