Sounds great on my end. The tube pre amp combined with your LM1875 seems a nice pairing. Clean, clear and plenty loud. Thank you for posting a listening video in addition to the scientific testing. It's difficult to do with YTs restrictions and different mics, speakers etc but it's worth doing in my opinion. You'll get a better test of sound quality after your housework today and listening to music you're intimately familiar with I'm sure. We all have favorite recordings that we've been listening to for DECADES. They are great to use in evaluating new amps. Thanks again for such great content Elecifun. I'm always excited when I see a new post from you in my queue!

I bought one just now to pair with an old 1980 Hitachi receiver I have. It will be interesting to hear the results, whether it merely just changes the sound or improves it. My thoughts are it will just add a different element or "flavour" to the sound quality rather than improve it. Even harmonics distortion.

Music player should be set at 80% you are overdriving the preamp at 100% The 6k4 sounded good with better highs. The GE 5654s had better mids & Lows.
