All they did was take feral damage out of bloodtalons and savage roar and put them in the base abilities. Good Ferals do the same damage, shit Ferals do a good amount more damage.
ill repost my message that I sent a few minutes back to someone else. IF you really knew feral than what you just said is not entirely accurate. "It depends on the situation really and slightly on the playstyle. For example in short term situations (20 secs or so) ferals got a lot bigger damage buff since the burst damage was buffed 33 percent and the bleed damage wouldn't have ticked long enough to do the sufficient damage to make it that cost effective. In long term bleed like situations when you have multiple targets (3min+) and you could get bloodtallons and rake on all of the targets then the damage is questionable since its true that we got a 33 percent damage buff, but at the same time jagged wounds and bloodtallons were nerfed heavily. However what has happened for a fact is that now ferals have a lot of different playstyles that could be more viable than before. Before the talents were very clear cut when it came to PVE (SR/JW/BT), and for PVP (Incarn/JW/BT) that were so OP compared to all of the other choices in the bottom tier. Now on the other hand, there are many different builds that I can see that might be viable and I am looking forward to experimenting! There could be styles of play for the short term such as taking incarn brutal slash and omens, and more long term if you take jagged wounds/Soul , with SR, and finally with blood tallons. I don't even know where to begin experimenting with elunes guidance which still could be crap or really freakin good!!!"
Ofcourse they did alot more to Feral than what I mentioned but that was the biggest thing - putting damage into base abilities and out of buffs you had to keep up to do max damage. I cant wait to level my Feral now either!
@dextris effect Yea Blizzard even said that Feral was super complex and a high skill cap spec so they wanted to make it better for the people new to Feral and make them easier to do damage with but at the same time it keeps the high skill cap to do maximum damage
I remember blizzard saying they didn't want a certain talent to feel forced. So i think they noticed bloodtalons was mandatory and buffed overall damage so we have more choices to pick from in our talents. Either way im playing feral more
Been gone since 7.2.5, quite playin cause feral (my main) felt more like glass than a glass cannon. Then I see the title of this video and get super excited, a minute in and I hear "Oh, where'd my health go..."
I main a warrior. And it’s now a no stance warrior with 5 buttons. No more charging around, intercept and intervene, it’s just hack and slash with 5 buttons
Has nobody considered brutal slash bloodtalons? seemed SUPER OP when you couldnt use it, but now you get it and nobody thinks about it xD unless it just sucks.
Super op, proceeds to do 2 full combos on destruction warlock without doing any damage before the shaman even dares to start healing and the warlock proceeds to nuke you almost completely while he is taking barely 1/5 hp in damage. Yeah, ferals are op. lol
Hi Para, thx for all the pvp videos you upload, really nice to see How all the specs play. Hoped you could help a brother out, I'm really torned between feral or assa rogue for Casual pvp, solo and with friends. What are you're thoughts on the 2 specs since the changes to feral? What do you find the most entertaning, and What do you enjoy from 2 specs? Thanks in advaced :) If any1 else has some thoughts on this, you're more than welcome to make a reply
As a healer, melee DPS has made Warsong unplayable. It has taken all strategy out of the BG. Just burn down FC ignoring heals. I blacklisted the BG for randoms until it's fixed. There is no decision making in Warsong anymore.
First fight just proves how stupid Locks are. All that opening damage, and the cloth wearers health barely moves. Even with a buffed feral, 1 v 1 you'd die while the lock never goes below 90%. This is not a statement complaining about locks, I play one...more just pointing out how incompetent Blizzard is at even remotely balancing anything...after 12 years...
Still squishy as fuck. You get trained by2 people in any bg, you're all in, unlike way better escape abilities other classes have. Now shifting takes a global. But yes the damage is nice now.
It depends on the situation really and slightly on the playstyle. For example in short term situations (20 secs or so) ferals got a lot bigger damage buff since the burst damage was buffed 33 percent and the bleed damage wouldn't be. and i find it REALLY annoying that everyone who doesnt play feral are all "OH WOW they hit hard" meanwhile im sitting here on my Enhance killing locks and ele's and mages at range with Ascendance and cant Kite DH's because of there mobility and everything, people need to realize feral has high damage in PvP because of the spread bleed pressure, not because of its shear damage
After simming and personally testing almost every combination of talents, I like to go with incarn, SR, and moment of clarity. It gives the best dps by a fairly large gap, at least with my gear (43% crit, 41% mastery). Though, for pvp, and for bursty pve, I'll go brutal slash. I don't do arenas, so I'm not sure for certain, but I feel like that's the only place elune's guidance would come in handy, since you actually need to set things up in arenas, unlike in BGs and wpvp. Blood talons is still viable, but I feel its only the second best talent in that tier, even with legendary boots. I also just never liked the idea of wasting an instant heal proc while at full health to get a damage buff.
Lethal Nine i repped feral since BC , even with nerfs we still rock ppl lol, even in 7.2.5 i was getting 3rd or 4th in dmg with feral. But thats because i didnt follow everyone elses build, i made my own and mastered it. Ferals take a good smount of time to REALLY master them.
Im playing feral myself and ill say that Blizz really overbuffed the spec, i mean even in PvE i pulled 1,7 million ST dps at ilvl 886 where as before i could do half of that at best..., they should have have buffed overall damage by 10-15% max and instead make some alterations to talents like SR and BT to keep the spec complicated to play(instead of nerfing them and making em irrelevant) For now, the least they can do is nerf the damage of Brutal slash by the same amount it was buffed, because every single feral now runs it and faceroll their way as people melt from a push of a button.
im calling bs. you may burst for 30 secs that kind of dmg(heroic dungeons maybe?) but you arent sustaining 1.7 million dps on any fights over 1 min. youre a liar
Obviously im not talking about sustained, that's why i said ''pulled'', after which it steadily dropped, but the fact i can pull twice as much dps than befre at such a relatively average ilvl remains. Brutal slash may not be a good choice in raiding, but when you look at dungeons and world content, the dps output is god-like compared to other talents and that's what pisses me off because i like variation,...options. Heck it's even used in rated PvP to melt people with a push of a button with proper timing. Point is, they were severely overbuffed and and complexity almost entirely taken away.
MrEverisforever its funny how this is the standard reply from almost every fucking scrub :-) you too stupid to try out something original? Im 2250+ on 6/11 chars. I cant play rogue.. or DH, mostly cuz i never bothered with any of them. I bet you just rerolled and got stuck at 1600... dumb ass :D
MrEverisforever then you of all should know bout this stupid change (: ive never been above 2400 as a druid, but ive been close as a boomy, 2585 as Enh. Never been a huge fan of druid.. perhaps you should refrain from the "1600 rated" comments, it makes most people look elitist and retarded imo. Especially when it's based off nothing. (:
True, I was just trolling but honestly I wouldn't really know since I haven't played for 6 months. My close mate said feral sucked and now it's op so I don't really know. I will also add that I'm pretty washed up now. Feel free to check my pvp vid, nothing special.
8:08 Anyone else notice the target dummy jumping around after death?? xD
Hans Stein yeh lol
Was that mistweaver jumping as a corpse lol? near the end.
All they did was take feral damage out of bloodtalons and savage roar and put them in the base abilities.
Good Ferals do the same damage, shit Ferals do a good amount more damage.

so basically they made the spec more playable to expand feral community... good and bad I guess. I personally like it tho since I was shit at feral :)
Ofcourse they did alot more to Feral than what I mentioned but that was the biggest thing - putting damage into base abilities and out of buffs you had to keep up to do max damage. I cant wait to level my Feral now either!

I love my prot war but druid is where my heart is...feral still glass canon but at least the canon part is back
i love it
what addon is that, that is showing the combo points?
whats the addon/s you have that change the font and make everything show up on the side like that? the scrolling combat text or whatever
Hows that addon called? With those kind of nameplates?
Which addon are you using for feral
How did he make recount show damege of his abilities instead of players?
Hey off the topic question what scrolling combat text addon are you using
mik's scrolling battle text
its miks. the same one everyone has used since tbc/wotlk
That was cool. I could watch that all day. Props dude
Gotta love that Mega Deth fan naming his character Davmustaine (Dave Mustaine) is the song writer and singer for that band.
Also, prior to this patch there are feral Druids that destroy people but, this is gonna be nuts.
They op as rogues?
I'd say so but they just dont have a vanish every 30 seconds
and cant survive WHILE do dmg. When u go to bear form, your dmg is dead.
What add on for combat text? Can't find a good one
msbt. miks scrolling battle text
Been gone since 7.2.5, quite playin cause feral (my main) felt more like glass than a glass cannon. Then I see the title of this video and get super excited, a minute in and I hear "Oh, where'd my health go..."
remember when u had so many abilities u didnt know where to put them lmao, now 3 spells max
the game turned to 5 spells each class only ... its shite no challenge
I main a warrior. And it’s now a no stance warrior with 5 buttons. No more charging around, intercept and intervene, it’s just hack and slash with 5 buttons
Benyamin David lol I remember maining my protein warrior in BC, ahhh I miss the ol stance dance
Wonder how good that druid you ribbed last week or so.. It looks good though.
Has nobody considered brutal slash bloodtalons? seemed SUPER OP when you couldnt use it, but now you get it and nobody thinks about it xD unless it just sucks.
So many "i main feral since vanilla" in the comments. U guys are funny.
Super op, proceeds to do 2 full combos on destruction warlock without doing any damage before the shaman even dares to start healing and the warlock proceeds to nuke you almost completely while he is taking barely 1/5 hp in damage. Yeah, ferals are op. lol
He doesn't play it, like, at all... GG, 10/10 comment
Your voice cracks are always a highlight! Keep up the great vidyas :)!!!
i like ur name

Phantom monk at 8:13 and 8:25 lol
Very nice video - keep it up!

Torq11 but locks also have the worst mobility out of all the caster
Finally you like ferals
Still squishy as fuck. You get trained by2 people in any bg, you're all in, unlike way better escape abilities other classes have. Now shifting takes a global. But yes the damage is nice now.
Feral got pretty much a 0% overall buffs to damage.
It depends on the situation really and slightly on the playstyle. I don't think anyone plays feral anymore so a bit too late

lmao sabertooth does seem like itd be better
Moar feral
single target feral is one of the if not the shittiest class in game
feral will get nerfed next week. 15% nerf
is this confirmed or just a guess?
just a guess.
Ferals have always been viable even before 7.3
I hate u now i main feral!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thx for help gonna get us nerfed :(
Just play balance and give up fantasy , kitycat like a shit :D
ppl keep saying super op..cmon i wreck every druid with my unholy dk so easily and i dont see ppl complaining about dks...
not op at all

1.7 is what Mythic warriors do in the top 1% in the world. If even.
Stop bullshiting.

These changes are good - Not... it'll ruin pvp even more if Feral is even more OP. They're already Tier 1....
says the 1600 player
MrEverisforever its funny how this is the standard reply from almost every fucking scrub :-) you too stupid to try out something original? Im 2250+ on 6/11 chars. I cant play rogue.. or DH, mostly cuz i never bothered with any of them. I bet you just rerolled and got stuck at 1600... dumb ass :D
