Also need to add after reading some comments Yes people some of us could not see video very well so quit being so negative! just chill! These people are nice enough to redo video so we could see this awesome tool at work.
Yay. Working smarter, not harder. Thanks to the person who sent it and for you for teaching how to use it. Pallets are my favorite scrounge. Take care. Bunny in NWFL
For some reason the original version worked just fine for me ! It's a cool tool that's for sure !!! Thanks for reposting so everyone can enjoy it. Dave
I worked with a guy in the '80s who had one made by a relative. He called it a "pallet ripper". He used it to breakdown pallets on the job, so he could take more wood home. I see somewhere along the line, someone came up with the swivel on the lifting arms. Very useful tool. I'm debating whether to buy one or to weld one up. Glad for you that someone gifted this to you! SWEET!
I didnt even know that tool existed and now I'm going to have to find one! Been wanting to do some diy projects with pallet wood since they can be found for free from people trying to just get rid of them, and most times theyre treated so they can be used outside! I must find this tool. Awesome :)
I am so glad the board you were standing on didn’t break while you were over a block of wood with the nails sticking out. Starting at 2:30 in the video
What a great tool. There are lots of videos on the internet showing what people do with pallet wood. There's always the possibility of making some creative items, to sell at a farmers market/art show market, or even roadside. Ashley... Wonder Woman. Love the video. How's the sale of the property going?
MerAngel12121-Sure thing! If you can pry the staple out enough to get a nail thru it,you can get a prybar or hammer claw under the nail to help pull it out.Staples can be a pain some times.I hope this helps!
Sorry about that. We had a lot of people tell us that they couldn't watch it so we just wanted to try it again. I think the problem is fixed, though I have no idea what was wrong. We'll have a new video in the morning.
No need to be sorry if i had a porblem with it i can click it off just as i click to watch :) lol You two make me feel lazy when i watch what you two do, plus the excitement you add as well 5 thumbs up!
Hey I know you made this video a long time ago but was just wondering how has the tool held up Homesteader I'm sure you make a lot of use of the tool. I just bought one. Was wondering about the Welsh holding up. But the lever action is what show me because you're definitely getting better grip on the bored either way I'm sure it's going to be a huge upgrade using a pry bar and a nail set good I did my dog house and needed four or five more pieces of wood exterior shiplap. I broke the other pieces so good it took me 3 and 1/2 weeks to find another palette that has the same kind of wood to keep it match together. Everyday driving home checking out spots 4 pallets period and wouldn't you know it driving home somebody got a refrigerator delivered same palette. I call it karma just do one random act of kindness everyday it pays off even though it feels so good to just try to help somebody for no reason at all I don't know why everybody is so uptight
Oh my gosh...i need that tool! I use pallets for my wood projects..i make farmhouse clocks. Where do I buy that...I live in Canada so I hope its available here.
It was bought off Amazon here: www.amazon.com/Vergo-Industrial-Pallet-Buster-Breaker/dp/B01MR4D17F/ref=asc_df_B01MR4D17F/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=198085543659&hvpos=1o1&hvnetw=g&hvrand=12204658473965457561&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9016316&hvtargid=pla-319839169325&psc=1
As a young girl I used to love to hammer nails into a piece of scrap 2x4 just to pull them out afterwards. I loved the feel and sound of the nails being pried out. So needless to say, I weirdly enjoyed your video 😊.
Out in the Country Oh my goodness!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS TOOL!!! If you only knew how many I have broke down with a hammer and elbow greese! 💪😂 *THANK* *YOU* for sharing this! 👏👏👏
We have a link to it in the description, but it is currently unavailable to buy. Maybe you could find it on another site. Vergo Industrial Pallet Breaker
Thanks! It was bought off Amazon: www.amazon.com/Vergo-Industrial-Pallet-Buster-Breaker/dp/B01MR4D17F/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1533299862&sr=8-3&keywords=pallet+tool
Yea, I thought the problem would get fixed after a while, but a lot of people kept having issues with it. It's very strange. I hope this video works fine for everyone now.
Pallets come in different amount of boards. Some are too tight that you can't get it in from inside. Thought to do from end of board. No one shows those videos
I spent a lot of time in the Crating department of our company building wooden pallets for odd size equipment we were shipping out or for overseas shipments. That's where I got my experience using various pneumatic nailers. We would buy standard size pallets for use in the factory and for stateside shipping. I would be required to build any pallets and crates that would be leaving the country. Never saw that tool in all the time I worked there. Great video as usual. Later
waterclear, I Love my telescoping magnetic pick up tool and use it often, because I keep it handy. That's the key, keeping it handy, because you can have the best all around tool ever, but if it's tucked away, well you know. I picked up several of those magnetic tools for a couple bucks each, a few years ago, at harbor freight tools and gave them to friends and family. : )
Not sure what type of wood pallet I have but I bought the exact same tool in silver 70 something USD and my boards are splitting and cracking. The wood is almost white with several knots in it. All the YT videos I see this tool is doing an awesome job is it just the type of pallet I'm trying it on or is there a trick? The lumber is chipping or cracking down the middle. Some tails are pulling threw the boards as they come off...... IDK what's happening but it's my first attempt
It does have a slight learning curve. The biggest thing that helped us is putting the pivot directly under the center of the board so it pulls straight up. You may have to experiment a little.
@@diyfferent Thanks for the tip! I figured I was doing something a bit wrong and practice would fix it. I was doing on the grass not the pavement so that probably wasn't helping either. Now it's going a bit better the last few I did and being free pallets I can't complain if I crack my first few. Thanks!
It has certainly happened to me. I'm not too worried about it though. Would've, could've, should've, you know the old saying. It has been said there is nothing new under the sun.

Debra, Yep, I thought they had a fleet of jets going over their piece of land every day. It is seriously loud and they are right, there isn't a tree that will sufficiently muffle the sounds those kind of roads emit. Way back when, I lived in a small town in Ohio for a time. That sound on the main highways is a sound I consciously forgot about, til they mentioned it in their video. I live in a beautiful area, near a train track and I'm glad to say, the trees, grass and bushes do help with that sound, as well as electro magnetic frequencies, which I am sensitive to. I find that birds, bees and assorted critters seek their own refuge in our foliage, during the hours neighbors are using wifi devices, etc.
Yea, people kept saying it wouldn't work for them, so we decided to delete the other one and try again. I thought the problem would get fixed after a while, but a lot of people kept having issues. It's very strange. I hope this time it works good.
The noise from the highway could have been greatly lowered or possibly even eliminated by planting a sound barrier by planting a large line of trees along the property next to the highway. Seems a shame to put so much work into the property then leave due to the loud highway noise.
Nothing can be planted that will help at all that can compete with the grooves on this highway, unfortunately. The sound would just travel through and over it. Even if it did work, we have a neighbor between us and the highway taking up a huge part that we can't do anything at all with. The sound of the highway got louder when the leaves came out in the spring and summer, which was a disappointment since we expected it to get at least a little quieter.
Man I hit the dislike button because I'm so fricken "JEALOUS'' nah just kidden,,, ha ha ha Your so lucky to have such a sweet coworker whose not afraid to get her hands dirty. I've been bustin pallets down since 2014 and gotta say that bar is pretty impressive... however the thing is built like a tank,, "Holy Lick" it's gotta weigh 50lbs.. I've been experimenting, with several styles / designs. The last I made out of 1"" square tubing, with narrow fingers, 7" long to get those 5.5 pallet boards.. I still have one similiar to yours but none have the flippy thing, .... Here's a trick I learned along the way.. Some pallets are "IMPOSSIBLE" while the vast majority, come apart quite easily without too much breakage. I love when they get really wet in the rain, it seems to make them come apart so much easier.. Best to nail a couple runner's onto something so u can slip one end of the pallet under, then when the boards are being pryed off the pallet cannot lift...
Hey no video today what happened everything messed up or something and we need some videos everything was fine for a while but you guys gave it up video everyday but what happened

Cool tool
I've found when pulling staples like those.if you slip a nail thru it,it's easier to pry it out.
Mark, I'm thinkin' I know what you're saying, but not sure. Could you explain your process a bit clearer? Thanks. I Love good tips.
MerAngel12121-Sure thing! If you can pry the staple out enough to get a nail thru it,you can get a prybar or hammer claw under the nail to help pull it out.Staples can be a pain some times.I hope this helps!

Is it heavy and awkward to move from side to side of the pallet?
I like the video
you reuploaded for those who have problems with this video? I had no problem viewing it. crystal clear
Yea, I thought the problem would get fixed after a while, but a lot of people kept having issues with it. It's very strange. I hope this video works fine for everyone now.

No because There is no timber to lever off, For first one use scissor wind up jack

cool! Things seem to work out that way, you come up with an idea and then someone else makes it shortly after, haha

Watching this video i hear that road noise you discuss in later video.

You go Ashley, see women are not the weaker sex.
On average, Men have at least 30% more muscle mass. It’s not sexism, it’s science.
Twice ?😊
Yea, people kept saying it wouldn't work for them, so we decided to delete the other one and try again. I thought the problem would get fixed after a while, but a lot of people kept having issues. It's very strange. I hope this time it works good.
Some how you have a double upload, I saw this yesterday,
A lot of people kept saying the video wouldn't work for them, so we decided to delete the other one and try again.
No way, Stay your course.
rammur1 I'm not sure you understand what the problem was. They uploaded the same video again because the first one had streaming issues. ♡
I just notice a lot of nails . With everyone ,boots for work area must.
Doug...do the sides first
