Would you be willing to pay more if you could get a hard shell like a ski box type protection instead of fabric? Good video series about this tent and honest talk 👍🏻
The decision around that was influenced by how much we camp. We do it a few times per year (4-7 times per year), but to us, it's not enough to pay thousands of dollars for a hard shell. That may change in the future. The weight and price point for this were a big reason why I got it. Happy camping and thanks for watching : )
it's decent. Here in san diego, the winters are fine... but in other places of the country, you may need additional insulation to keep the warm in. I also have a battery with a heated blanket I plug in at night time for those colder nights

great review - thanks -can you leave your bedding in it when you pack it up?
only if it is reallllly thin. Don't fully recommend as it could damage the hinges. Thanks for watching!

Love my tent but the zip for the cover is broken so I use a ratchet strap to keep it secure.
haha sometimes you have to DYI!
How is it in cold weather?

@@BeautyisWiildgood to know, thank you!
You shouldn't have to worry about snakes. A swag would do the trick. No room for a roof top box to store things.
Correct! I carry a Thule box attachment in the tow hitch when I'm doing longer-term camping for that reason. Thanks for watching
