  • More suspension changes in the shop and changing 4 link bars and corner weights and burnouts will share the latest from the KevinWilsonSBC SamsonPerformance garage. We make a small 4 link bar change to the instant center length and we adjust the 4 link preload to help correct a drive to the left. Burnouts are on tap. We do encounter a transbrake issue though...

    Lord almighty, the blower surge is too good. I love the fact that you and your dad are working together on this build. I can’t begin to imagine the wisdom he’s imparted on you. Thank you for sharing and thank you for the wisdom.
    My dad has always supported my hobbies and I’ve been lucky enough to help him restore his dream car.
    Can’t wait to see this thing make passes!

    Love it! Thanks Kevin. Really enjoy you sharing your thought process as you work these issues out. Love the drive way burn outs! Keep waiting for a light tree to get put out there 🙂. You need to set up some spectator seating.

    Pretty awesome car, love the Studebaker body… Little more streamlined than the old Ford coupe lol 👍

    So you're saying that the rear suspension works exactly the same way with and without torque. Then why do you need to bar?

    • @KevinWilsonSBC
      @KevinWilsonSBC  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Never said that all. I am demonstrating how you can check the rear end behavior in the shop. Of course on the hit the chassis rotation comes into play. Go fast, go straight! Be SAFE!

    Are you going no prep the car?

    • @KevinWilsonSBC
      @KevinWilsonSBC  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No. Converting the 48 Ford to no prep. Go fast, go straight! Be SAFE!

    You'll want more weight up front. You're making more power.
