- I tried again to get some decent video on Phantom Theater. This time I accidently hit the sepia button, then the cinema button. Not the greatest footage, but better than nothing, right?
That ride scared the shit outta me back in those days
I remember my parents dragging me and my brothers on this ride kicking and screaming because we were terrified... but we all loved it! Rode it every year we went until they took it down. this is such a blast from the past!
I sent a letter to Kings Island, a year or two before they shut down this ride telling them that they needed to step in and do some repairs because a lot of the animatronics weren't working as designed. It also needed to be cleaned. People stuck gum all over the figures and spit on the plexiglas in the theater scene. I even offered to get up some people to do it voluntarily! They responded back with a curt "thanks but no thanks". So sad to see this in such a state of disrepair.....
No wonder they closed the ride! Your complaining probably explains it. thanks a lot for helping make there be one less fun dark ride in the world! everyone is so grateful!
I sooooooo want this back! They never should have took this out :( They should put this in coney mall or rivertown if they decide to bring it back. I would give anything to ride this again.
this ride was really really cool and awesome i wish that they would bring this ride back to kings island

This is excellent footage.. to bad Maestro wasn't taken better care of and wasn't broken... His mouth isnt moving, and his actually turning on the stool appears to be broken

This ride was pretty good but ti's sad that they took out the Smurf ride to make it.
why replace the figures?....the old was the best..they were still standing and moving.. i bet they just threw the figures away in the dumpster..
Um um um I dunno about this one now its called boo blasters. And BTW it looks scary
old old old i bet they just threw the figures and the props in the dumpster they should of sold it on ebay are amazon wow sutch waste too see it gone now
kay taylor they kept the figures. They used to put them out on display at Fright Fest for Halloween.
I guess they fixed it after wards because when I first rode in 98 he turned around completely.
well thats why it closed down you sent them a letter complaning too them about it..but ya they should of put signs up..please dont letter..and dont touch the figures...people are fucking rude any more..they dont respect anything..
