    In this video I review the Merax Portable Mini Compact Twin Tub Washing Machine and Washer Spin Cycle. This is a How To: Laundry for small apartment. It's one nice little machine. It really gets the job done. It's a great compact size and really strong. As long as you can hook up the water hose you're good money. I have special Gerry gig that I display in the video. Watch and enjoy. It's really great for anyone that wants to wash clothes but don't have a lot of space. Please comment, like & subscribe. I have lots of other great reviews coming soon.
    Peace & Blessing Gary Ajene

      @Skunky Stinkerson I agree manual is a lot ! Most people buy manual because it’s compact with no hookups required. And it cost like bare minimum $100.

    **hope this helps anyone** It has 2 water inlets: 1 for the wash side...1 for the spinner side. It'll spray water on the clothes while it's spinning & that's an actual "rinse" like a normal washing machine. You have to 'spin' the dirty water off the 1st wash so that when you 'rinse' you are rinsing w/ clean water. If not you're just washing (wash #2 a/k/a 'rinse') your clothes again in 1/2 dirty water & 1/2 clean water. Oh, & also you can just fill it w/ a bucket of water... it's quicker. BOL! He said it's twerking. LoL!

    second water inlet is for adding rinse water to the spin cycle, handy for getting out suds if you use too much soap

  • @prtybrneyez18
    @prtybrneyez18 5 ปีที่แล้ว +32

    That is how a standard washer works. Wash, spin, rinse, spin. Also you can fill the spinner up to the rim.

      @deborahschoubroek7614 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Agreed. That's how I do mine. I'm surprised how many people are skipping this step. And even more so how many are skipping rinsing at all. These folks got alot of soap and dirt still 8n their clothes

  • @steph505521
    @steph505521 6 ปีที่แล้ว +41

    I spin the soapy water outta mine cause if u fill it back up to rinse it theres still soap on the clothes that gets in the clean water so its like washing em again, it doesnt rinse the soap all off

    I have one of these, love it. Really suggest making a filter out of a cut off pantyhose for the hose though. Runaway lint is killer on your drain.

    • @carmellelapointe7583

      Use a drain screen, always. Dollar stores sell them.

  • @yellowbird5411
    @yellowbird5411 5 ปีที่แล้ว +26

    People tend to spin for too long. When the water stops coming out of the drain hose, there is no point in continuing to spin, as you are just using electricity for nothing, and you are wearing out the machine faster.

  • @apuglover5006
    @apuglover5006 4 ปีที่แล้ว +5

    The 2 water inlets are not for hot and cold water. The one on the wash side is to fill up the wash tub and the one on the spin side is to rinse your clothes in the spinner

    FYI/ the cute little lint traps are 4.99 on EBAY or 99 cents if you order shipped from China versus 7.99 on Amazon. The world is crazy obsessed with Amazon? Almost every thing I order comes from EBAY and is always cheaper just about every time and a lot faster😉

      Sorry, but that is a load of crap.....I have had so much trouble with ebay.....it is not cheaper and is not even close to being faster.....Amazon does not run around delivering you stuff....neither does ebay....the sellers on ebay use the same shipping as every one else....I love my UPS driver.....and I usually order from Amazon...much faster to find what you are looking for and gets here in 2 days.....always....excellent return service....so done with ebay....I don't know what kind of lint traps you need....my cost 99 cents

    • @onesistersoul
      @onesistersoul 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      MY 2 CENT ON DELIVER...I CHECK THEM ALL ...ALTHOUGH YOU CAN SAVE MONEY DEPENDS ON WHAT YOU BUYING FROM EBAY I FIND THE WAIT TIME CAN BE FOREVER IF YOU GO THE CHINA ROUTE... AND THE 7.00 A MONTH I PAY ON AMAZON PRIME IS NOTHING COMPARED TO 7.OO ON WHAT ONE ITEM.. BUT THE REAL THING HERE IS HOW MUCH DO YOU ORDER BY MAIL AND WHAT YOU ORDER .. THESE BLANKETED STATEMENT DRAGGING ONE SITE AGAINST ANOTHER IS JUST BREEZY SHOPPING FOR MONEY ON SOME LEVELS DONT MATTER PEOPLE SHOPPERS... DO A LIL WORK AGAINST YOUR MONEY VALUE. CAUSE WAITING A MONTH FOR SOMETHING IS FINE IF YOU PATIENT AND NOT NEED IT. ...BUT 10.OO E0R SOMETHING THAT COULD COST YOU 5.00 IF YOU GO TO THE WALMART HAS WORKED FOR MANY OF US WHO LIVE A DIFF LIFE... ALWAYS CHECK THE SIZE AGAINST PRICES TO CAUSE SOME THINGS ARE TRULY MIS LEADING ON A PIC. AND AS FAR AS DROP OFF DELIVERY I NEVER HAD MY PACKAGE STOLEN BUT I HAVE HAD IT DELIVERED WRONG BUT I FIND WHENEVER I HAVE A PROBLEM WITH DELIVERY I CAN ALWAYS CONTACT COMPANY OR POST OFFICE TO MAKE ARRANGEMENT.. JUST A THOUGHT... NO HARM MENT

    • @pamelarising344
      @pamelarising344 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I have an xtra large washer and dryer but use my twin tub panda for small loads. It uses less water in the panda. I like how clean my clothes get. I can get two loads done in the time one load is done in large washer. And yes, I spin after washing and rinsing like like a normal washer. It gets more soap out and thus rinses better. ;)

    I need to explain the water inlets on either side of the machine. These little machines do what a conventional washing machine does. A conventional washing machine has cycles, a normal setting is, wash, spin, rinse, spin, with this machine you do it manually. The water inlet on the washing side to fill the tub, the inlet on the spin side is to allow you to add water intermittently to spray the spinning clothes to get as much soapy water off of the spinning clothes to get them ready for the rinse cycle. Just like a conventional washer.

    That second inlet is if you want to rinse while you spin. I like the idea of rinsing in the wash side with water with no soap.
    It's very strange to me that ppl want to rinse in such a tiny drum instead of the larger wash side, using just water. Very odd. Rinse then spin. Logic. I agree with you! That's exactly what a regular washer does. I love that you are using your brain lol!
    You need to stop using hot water in it though. The instructions on some machines say that the hot water can melt the elements in the machine.
    Unless your clothes are riddled with Ebola, there is no need for such hot water silly rabbit lol.
    Esp with dark clothes. Use warm for white and cold for dark.

      You wash then spin, then move clothes back to the wash side and rinse in fresh water. The spin is to remove excess soapy water before rinsing. That's how bmregular washers work. Wash, drain, spin ,rinse drain spin. You just have to move them manually

I use a mat so it doesn't go all over the tub. shorter wash and spin cycles. you're right, those hoses are a joke. just use a bucket. a lint strainer over the tub drain and occasional vinegar/baking soda/HOTwater to clear the pipes is a good idea. to help the spinner last longer, wring out what water you can, pack it to the top but don't go over 8 pounds. 2 minutes tops. air dry over night and finish off/anti wrinkle in dryer (if you like)

    the intake on the spin side is not for hot/cold btw it's to rinse in the spin side if you want to.
    Thank you so much for the review!!!
    Also I admire that ingenuity! I'll probably have to do that here.

    Bro, this video was very helpful in getting me to recently purchase my 1st mini washer! I actually ended up getting this same one that you got. You had me rolling during the part where you broke down your jerry rigged setup from the shower faucet. All I can is that your ideas were creative. I just can't wait to use this machine and say good bye to laundry mats! Cheers

    I believe I saw in another video, that there is already a lint trap inside of the washer side. But using extra doesn't hurt either.

    I use an off cut from a garden hose with an adaptor on the basin tap. I'm in the UK, by the way.

    Actually, a regular washing machine does run a spin cycle before it runs the rinse cycle and then runs another spin cycle again. It gets more soap out of your clothes. Over time you’ll develop a soap build up in your clothes and you’ll start getting rashes.

      That tells you that you should never use "regular" soap. I always use "clear, for sensitive skin, non alergenic" soaps anyway. Those perfumes in soaps and drying sheets are poisonus. Your body never lies.
