Zerobaseone are genuinely creating some type of affect in the K-pop world rn. They have said that they want to leave an impact and want to create the ZB1 affect and I think they genuinely are making that happen. I’m so proud of our boys and I just know they are going to go places in the future ^^
It might be hard adjusting to it at first considering their debut song is a bit different but the second time you listen it keep getting better and it continues to be addicting!
tbh I think they want to satisfy all fans. I loved In Bloom bc it was different and fans wanted it but I am also a fan of "noisy" music that goes hard like Crush. and others are like that too
Really love the vocals, visuals, and can’t wait to see the choreo!! Soo glad to see the play between delicacy and strength in this beautifully sci-if fantasy infused song. I was happily surprised by the direction that truly featured how impactful everyone is on screen when they are given those moments to shine. I think overall I have been concerned that maybe our guys in ZB1 may not have as much creative control as we’d all love for them to have to feature all the things we love on every song, but that concern was blown out with this song! So glad to hear production team on leading edge of trends. Hope you do a deep dive on one other group pulled together organically after BP through their friendships and synergy of talent. I have been blown away by the pre-debut performance videos of One Pact (Jay Chang, Jong Woo, Ye Dam, TAG, Seongmin), who out of the gate are getting producer, director and composer credits and have no end date in sight. I see some innovation and creative control that is sooo exciting and refreshing to watch unfold … on top of Rockstar vocals, rapping the feels like it is breaking new ground in k-pop, and choreo that hits.

this was a very interesting breakdown from a producer! personally as a fan, I love the dnb parts but i’m not a big fan of the chorus drop. I think a chorus drop could work but this one was a bit too noisy, it took me out of the song a bit. but i love everything else about this song!
I thought the whole pre-chorus was great, and the drop (unfortunately) threw me off, it is the ONLY part of the song I didn't like, but enough to deter me from coming back to it. I understand what effect producers were going after and I suppose I can see how it would make for an excellent performance song, but it is definitely not as easy to listen to - at least compared to what's on the market currently (different opinion from PD).

same. the dnb part sounds soooo good! The drums were a bit much but it definetely didn't ruin the song
