I quite upset at Solar not pushing his advantage and allowing Bunny to rebuild twice. I get Terran would be better on defensive and he needed energy, but twice he more way more army.
Not worth trying to chain fungal to kill units. This isn't WoL, it takes 5 fungals over 15 seconds to kill a hellbat. Solar needed to be more efficient in the end (more queens to transfuse BLs, and the broodling trick).
The issue is that Corruptors shit on Vikings when combined with Fungal. Vikings have a very bad habit of clumping together no matter how well you micro them, which makes them prime targets for Fungal. Using Thors to counter the Brood Lords (with Hellbats to tank some Broodlings) was generally the right call, especially since Thors have bonus damage against Massive tagged targets (which is a tag Brood Lord has) so long as the Thor has their 250mm Punisher Cannons anti-air mode active.
Probably a couple would have been very nice. As was pointed out, corrupters plus fungal destroy vikings, but just having that non blinded anti brood lord would have been significant.

It doesn't see major use seeing as about the only thing it's useful against is Brood Lords; most Protoss air power has even longer attack ranges than the Thor does.

@@tigera6 zerg even have the advantage of supply count. Cus overlord only cost mineralds and 0 supply. zerg can build 10 overlords and spread arc. control the thores and game is over.
@@pinky797 Personally I think the drop overlord isnt as useful as Medivac and Warp Prism in term of picking up and dropping units. And they would probably get sniped by Ghost when they are scouted, but thats just me.
EMP is pretty instant so no. Also, warp prism has a long pick up range. What you are supposed to do as zerg is to split your infestors so that they can't all get EMP'd at once.
It is very strong but so is infestor broodlord viper. There are tons of potential damage for both unit comps and also a lot of skilled required to play both. Doesn't need patch, TvZ continues to be one of the most fun matchups in the game
Actually I just saw a game of Dark, he made 30broods and did the brooding trick where he spawns lots of then attacking a creep tumor and sends in. That's the only way of beating it. But still for everyone else who isn't Serral, Reynor and Dark at the moment ZvT is just stupid. This game is a clear example where solar where making all the right moves to transition into the late game without too large of a gap in the resources lost, and still lost, even tho he controlled the entire early to mid game. So it really feels at the moment that it's not enough to be "ahead" in ZvT you gotta be shitting on the terrains face to be consider ahead

He had no gas left, and you need both minerals and gas (resources) to repair. Repairs aren't free.
