Not that he was a perfect president or a perfect person, but I've never seen a more effective speaker in politics. The charisma, the understanding of when to let the moment breathe, the ability to inspire hope... Even as someone who only voted for him once in his two elections, I have to tip my hat to someone who is truly elite at what he does. As an Independent voter I am so glad McCain chose Palin as his running mate because I was on board with McCain to be our president. I truly believe he was a good man that truly cared about this country. But when he chose Palin a female version of Trumps ideals and brain power(😂) I thought to myself what if something horrible happened to McCain when he was president this would be the person in charge? Oh hell no!!! So I decided to give Obama and Biden my vote and it was the best decision I made in regards to voting as he also received my vote his second go around. He was a great president that was for the people and he was someone I felt like I could relate to. But I watched me, my family and my friends thrive under Obama-Biden. My biggest mistake was voting for Trump in 2016. I lost my job, my brother lost his job. My dad passed away and we couldn’t visit him because Covid had gotten so out of hand. Then to see everything he did in 2020 with fake electors scheme, the call to Georgia officials, shaking Americas confidence in our elections, and then January 6th happened. I felt so much better about my Biden - Harris vote after all of that. Biden and Harris helped me and my brother get back to work. We are both doing awesome, we both were able to buy new houses. My moms medicine lowered so much she is able to now spend that extra money on her grand children and also put some money away for when she really needs it. Harris and Walz got my full support and even my family that is full of Republicans have joined the Republicans for Harris movement not because they want to be Democrats but it’s the only way to save their party from the extremism called Maga. In normal times I would have loved to have serious discussions with people about all our leaders' foibles, but MAGA has desensitized me to the point that I know there's no use in it. MAGA tends to make things up, out of whole cloth, and they hold their own leaders to a far lower standard than ours, and it becomes an exercise in reasoning with a cult addict about why they should leave their cult, rather than an honest discussion where we both seek to deepen our respective understandings. There's nothing to be learned, for either party, from these types of discussions where the accusations and confessions and the mud-slinging and gas lighting are a constant state of dialogue.
When people say things like this, especially in such a hand-wavy way, it sends a clear signal that the person leveling the accusation is not really serious, does not intend to back up what they say, and has no interest in a good-faith discussion; the intent of the comment appears not to be to share important information about our potential leaders that we all should know, but rather it comes off as a tribal attack with no clear foundation, like a drive-by, where the car is already long gone by the time you get your piece out. I'm really just writing this generally, and not to you specifically, because I don't even expect a real response from you. MAGA has taught me what to expect, which is just more childishness. But you go ahead and prove me wrong if you want and try saying something real, serious, and not-bot.

As an Independent voter I am so glad McCain chose Palin as his running mate because I was on board with McCain to be our president. I truly believe he was a good man that truly cared about this country. But when he chose Palin a female version of Trumps ideals and brain power(😂) I thought to myself what if something horrible happened to McCain when he was president this would be the person in charge? Oh hell no!!! So I decided to give Obama and Biden my vote and it was the best decision I made in regards to voting as he also received my vote his second go around. He was a great president that was for the people and he was someone I felt like I could relate to. But I watched me, my family and my friends thrive under Obama-Biden. My biggest mistake was voting for Trump in 2016. I lost my job, my brother lost his job. My dad passed away and we couldn’t visit him because Covid had gotten so out of hand. Then to see everything he did in 2020 with fake electors scheme, the call to Georgia officials, shaking Americas confidence in our elections, and then January 6th happened. I felt so much better about my Biden - Harris vote after all of that. Biden and Harris helped me and my brother get back to work. We are both doing awesome, we both were able to buy new houses. My moms medicine lowered so much she is able to now spend that extra money on her grand children and also put some money away for when she really needs it. Harris and Walz got my full support and even my family that is full of Republicans have joined the Republicans for Harris movement not because they want to be Democrats but it’s the only way to save their party from the extremism called Maga.
