Sir I can't get self priming.
Please explain about it

Okay, so priming means the process of removing air from the suction line....you may have seen that in submersible pump we add some water before starting the pump so that trapped air is removed....
So in positive displacement pumps due to its arrangements there is very less space for air to enter in the pump...moreover positive displacement pumps pulls the liquid in inlet while centrifugal just push the liquid...
Hence in p.d pumps priming is not required as they are self primed...
