my neck of the woods, dont know if you have been back through but now that Nashville ramp has been rebuilt to being the highest overpass in Tenneessee.
Just as he was starting to cross the bridge, saw that pyramid shaped building on the left hand side, the only other time I saw one like that is the Luxor in Las Vegas Nevada....would you happen to know what that one is in Memphis, thinking it's some kind of a office building..........
The Pyramid was originally a sports arena primarily for basketball, but other events were held there also. I believe it opened in 1991. It was home field for the Memphis State Tigers basketball team. (Now the Memphis Tigers.) It has mostly been abandoned in recent years. The FedEx Forum opened near Beale Street in 2004 and is now home to the Memphis Tigers and the Grizzles NBA team. Only used as a sports arena for about 12 years. It has been idle for about ten years. I understand that the Pyramid is going to be renovated and used for a Bass pro shops Superstore. (with a hotel on site). I use to live in Memphis. I currently reside in South Florida.
Oh the 3 lane'd stretches of roads. Gotta love them.
