Moving the DJ up, allows the DJ to be able to look over the whole crowd better, and can respond to their reactions to the music selection, and can change the song if needed
I agree with that however and understand however, they were so far away that even the cruise directors had issues trying to communicate with them at times and most deck parties the music is pre-planned by the cruise directors. I don’t mind them being higher up but it just felt too far removed with them so far away. That’s just the feeling I got from it but I understand the DJ perspective could be different.
I watched you do the sexy dolphin I’ll see if I’ve got footage 😂 I was filming when Tim noticed it was you! The lime green in the MDR is specific taste for sure. With the pink… no. I did notice the entertainment in the mdr was lack lustre for sure and the staff were very very rushed our experience in there this time was not amazing unfortunately. Our kids absolutely loved the cruise director Reiner. He was wonderful with the kids. We did notice a few things did not happen or were missing but still had a great cruise all the same. The food on this ship was better than last time also.
Lol, we did actually get the dolphin on the 3 day… I re-did it when he said pick an animal because we missed it the first time. Unfortunately it was much more entertaining the first time around. I could tell they were under the pump too but we were disappointed it wasn’t the same as usual. I agree, Rainier was fantastic with kids! He always made the effort to approach and interact with them. It was still overall a great cruise with the usual great entertainment.
Argh, we booked in June & only had late dining available for the Xmas cruise. On waitlist for anytime… fingers crossed, with a 3 year old, late won’t work :(

Oh that’s good! I don’t think they had them in December when we were last on there so must have been at some stage between them. It’s a lot better.
