I was in and out this station countless times in my youth. You ended up right where I usually went down (at the clothespin). I hardly recognized a lot of what you filmed, and couldn't always tell which way we were going. I'd forgotten how big it is, and going in all directions.
it's a LABYRINTH down there. It's got all sorts of weird connections. I think it might even connect to the City Hall BSL / MFL concourse but I've never tried to do that myself. That concourse is a nightmare. You could wander for days. weeks even. I hear some people never leave
Its been a while since I was last in Suburban station. I see Verizon has still jizzed all over the place with their advertisements, I remember when those showed "nations fastest LTE network" .
I hate those ugly gates they put up everywhere when they started forcing the SEPTAkey on everyone. You used to be able to go down onto the platforms with your friend while they wait for the train because their fare wasn't collected until they got on. Now you have to swipe just to get onto the platforms. Also, no matter how many times I'm there, I will NEVER be able to remember all the pathways and entrances/exits to that huge underground complex. I've lived here all my life and I still get turned around down there if I don't stick to my usual entrance/exit.
Hey Philly Captain at Suburban Station, ok payphones which are limited at places cost either a 25 cents, 50 cents or a 1.00 depending on the payphone...

I had no idea Suburban Station was so big, wow.
The place is like a city underground, easy to get lost walking random hallways.

Do you have any videos of the old East Side Gallery Mall
I do not. But there are some videos of it on TH-cam
Woah, I haven't seen a payphone in probably 15 years! I bet there's lots of people who wouldn't know how to use one if they had to.
