    Great video! Now I will do it myself before paying Infiniti a arm and a leg for the job.💯

    The gear oil will drain faster and more completely if it is drained @ or close to operating temperature. After driving the car, letting it sit for 1/2 hour should be sufficient to let the exhaust pipes cool but still allowing the fluid to drain at an elevated temperature.

    Just a suggestion! ( Cover your License Plates from the public.) Excellent Information. I went to visit the Infinity dealership yesterday to schedule a test drive of the Q60 to get the feel of the car with the "DAS" I prefer the car without the DAS.

      Cover the license plate? Why? it’s open for all to see when he goes out driving. Makes no sense.

    You may need to invest in one of those platform jacks that raises the car from the center about 2 or 3ft. Other than that, great vid as usual.

    That is the typical color of diff fluid. I’d say the transfer case fluid will be red.

    Since I have a RWD , is this only done for the rear differential , because I don’t think there’s a front differential if I’m not mistaken ?

    Have you done an oil change video yet? I'm interested to see if you use OEM weighted oil or if you go with a thicker oil.

    Your Fast Intentions exhaust looks pretty much rust free, do you daily drive you car in salty roads in winter? Also why did you choose Motul over Amsoil?

    • @aeroman5239
      @aeroman5239 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Fast Intentions pipes are mendrel bent, with long, continuous piping, so fewer welds. They also use T-304 SS for the tubing, and the flanges are mild steel, but are nickel plated. They stand behind their product w/3 yr warranty.
      I have the FI Full (Catted) DPs and FI CBE on my '17 Q60S.

    Can I ask why your using MOTUL drivetrain fluids over Amsoil?

    • @dballz78
      @dballz78 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@EnthusiastPOV I guess my concern was due to you racing the car at the track I know the Amsoil is very helpful with drivetrain shock especially with the launch and high tq engine outputs. Not sure if you have but look into Amsoil Severe Gear series. Again when I go to the track I use SG SAE for track days or events and then swap back out to SG 75-90.

    Just curious but why did you pick this fluid over the Amsoil synthetic gear oil?
