I never experienced the classic DCOMs as a kid, so my first official brush with Hannah Montana as a whole was when two girls in my class decided to duet The Climb at our grade 8 grad ceremony.

It took me a embarrassingly long in life to realize ‘Miley’ was the real person and ‘Hanna Montana’ was the character.
At least I had the excuse of being a guy who knew nothing about this. Literally only knew that she existed because of this yogurt that someone in my class had when I was like 6.
The Climb was my sad song. I’d stare out my moms car window and pretend I’m in a music video. Also Jackson getting his head stuck in a pumpkin and wrestling an alligator (or crocodile) was just amazing

Question: Why do these people act so…cowboy-ish? It’s Tennessee, no a rodeo. People who live here don’t wear cowboy hats and don’t usually ride horses everywhere, and they land a plane in some random field instead of a airport, like normal people? This movie is so confusing and as someone who grew up around this area, just didn’t make sense. Honestly, just really think it’s corny that southern communities in tv are backwoodsy and shit when it’s literally like anywhere else. I mean I lived in Nashville and it’s more metropolitan than you’d think. Even my hometown (over on the KY side of the KY/TN state line) isn’t this obnoxious. Similar, but nobody in their right mind walks around looking like some discount horse rider. Flannel and shit, that’s fine, but out those hates up, unless your at horse practice or competition or in Pigeon Forge. It’s bizarre!
Because the hollywood idea of "the south" is "yeehaw, just small town cowboy vibes and pickup trucks, not a single fancy thing in sight, just horses and hats"
As an east tennessee native, I've always found it so odd and a bit annoying
As a Tennessean, can confirm. The only people who wear cowboy hats are European tourists passing through Nashville on their way to better cities.
Is Miley Cyrus from that area IRL? If they are, you figure her or her family would correct them at some point. That kind of getup reads as Texas more than anything so I'm just gonna assume it's really ignorant studio execs to blame lol
It's the same with Texas. Maybe it's because I live in Central Texas, but there isn't just a bunch of people walking around in cowboy hats and boots yelling "Yeehaw!"

I’ve never seen a Hanna Montana show or any content related to it (until now I guess lol) but I had this blue hannah Montana shirt that was a handy-down from my older cousin and istg my parents could not get that shit off of my back I think eventually my parents found a way to get rid of it but I have absolutely no doubt in my mind I would’ve worn that shirt as long as it fit me💀

This movie infuriated me to no end. Miley has to juggle a normal teenage life with a pop star career. And Lily is mad at her for being to busy to show up to her birthday party as herself and not as Hannah Montana, even while she was TRYING TO GET HER A BIRTHDAY PRESENT, AND SHE WAS TRYING TO MAKE IT UP TO HER. And her dad scolds her for getting caught fighting in a tabloid, WHEN SHE WAS JUST TRYING TO GET HER FRIEND A BIRTHDAY PRESENT. And because she's "in her own little pop star world," (which she most likely never even asked to be a part of in the first place), her dad sends her off to her family in the country without consent and forces her to stay until she finds her roots, throwing her entire career schedule off track. And despite her very obvious attempts at giving her family the hint that she doesn't want to be there, she's STILL BEING SCOLDED EVEN MORE. AND while trying to balance her vacation time and career time, her dumbass childhood sweetheart dumps her after she accidentally exposes herself as Hannah Montana. Like, as if she was some shallow, vapid pop star and not an overworked teenage girl. And after she makes the incredibly bold move of exposing herself in front of everyone in her home town, just when you think she finally gets a break from living two lives at once, everyone encourages her to go back to being Hannah.
Anything, literally anything positive mentioned in these reviews won't leave even the slightest dent in my eternal hatred for this vile and disgusting filth that has no right to even exist. 🖕😡🖕

I heard about the movie when it came out, I don't think I watched it. Was it before she was on Disney, or is this a Disney movie? It looks too good for a Disney channel movie. Like, it looks so high quality looks like they put more effort into it. Also, what state does it take place in? When struggles happen, the devil will try to get you to believe lies about God, your situation, yourself, or other people. He will try to get you to doubt your identity and your God-given authority. But God, who has victory over Satan, is always fighting for you.
Nothing can overcome God, and so when we rely on God-nothing can overcome us.
In every situation, we are more than conquerors because God deeply loves us. This is why we don’t have to be afraid of the spiritual fight-God has already won it. We need to remind ourselves of this truth so that way we can withstand the attacks from Satan when they come.
But attacks will end, because God will win.
So today, fill your mind with truth. Hold fast to your faith, and guard your heart. Walk in peace toward everyone, and memorize Scripture so that way you can wield it as a weapon against any spiritual attack that comes your way.
And know that no matter what you face-God is already fighting for you. He is in control, and He will never leave you. He will never let you fall as long as you keep clinging to Him.
When you belong to God, you have the power to subdue, crush, and overthrow anything the devil throws at you. God’s power makes you more than a conqueror.'.....
