SAA flew the 747SP to Perth until the early to mid 2000s.
Wow. I left long before then. Probably had a livery change or perhaps 2 in all that time

Yes very strange KLM never flew to Perth?
I can remember one occasion when a KLM flight from MEL to Colombo was diverted to PER due to a medical emergency. That may have been it. I watched it fly past my house after it took off again.
