You've inspired me to propagate some roses ...while trying to reorganize the basement this past week, I found my rooting hormone powder, which I haven't used in a number of years (it's quite old) so I ordered some new from Amazon and it just arrived. I had decided that I need to root some hydrangeas (that's the reason I ordered it) now come next summer I'll try rooting roses too!
Really love antique roses that has a great fragrance. Want to plant them along the fence line. My husband and I were married at Boone Hall 34 years ago. We just moved to an old town established in 1848, Jamestown Ca. There are so many roses growing in our town along the old homes from the 1800’s.
I just had an old rose bush 30+ years sprout a new plant about a foot away from the original plant. Is there something I need to do to the mother plant? Does she need to be pulled out and replanted? I live in Southern California. So they are getting new growth due to trimming a voiplr weeks ago.
I was the only boy that loved the flower gardens I helped plant them I enjoyed the gardens the men hated me so the woman took me with them I always stuck up for them
I think this is my favorite episode from this season!
This is a awesome video. Thank you for sharing it Allen.🌺
