- Listen to the complicated Rig Veda Pancha Sandhi Ghana Paarayanam. One can appreciate the complexity only when one takes an ordinary English sentence and try and say it in the formula given. It is nearly impossible to do this right. Now imagine this being done with the Veda! It has taken these Ghanapadis 45 days to complete one half and it will take them another 45 to complete the whole Rig Veda in this manner. The second half is due to begin in the Tamizh month Margazhi. These scholars are our LIVING LIBRARIES. What they have stored in their head, and the complex retrieval mechanism they know, no ordinary book or mechanised, automated library can ever do. This awareness teaches us to beproud, be supportive and be respectful!

The enormousness of the living heritage we belong to gives me goosebumps. Thank you so much for sharing. At some point all the Dharmic individuals like us should work with these gurus and record Ghana parayanam in a professional studio for mass dissemination. I feel blessed just by listening to this parayanam.
I listen to ghana patha by Suresh padhdhati daily in the brahma muhurtham.
But pancha sandhi ghanam has opened my antah chakshu to greatness of these Ghanapathis who are keeping the lamp of vedas lighted.

It would be enormously long chant... 13 times the normal chant.
You will find some portion of rigveda in ghana like Panch Rudra sukta,few suktas of Agni,samvada Suktas,bhagya sukta etc.

Very good. But only few are chanting . Others are chanting only mentally. So the out put is not very effective. With so many Vidwans the vibration could be much more if all are involved in chanting. Please do not feel bad. This is my feeling.
I am not a Brahmin...but I want my son to learn all the Vedas and hymes...is it possible??????
It is impossible for a person to learn all the vedas and hymns and live a regular life. This is because it is SO HARD and one has to give up everything else in life to do this. One has to follow too many strict rules on eating and other habits and so only certain people capable of doing this learn. However, there are MANY MANY wonderful chants that are available like the Vishnu Sahasranama and others that are hard, yet don't require such a strict life. Let your son start with shlokas. There are many beneficial ones.

2. be truthful to your self & other
3. Have open mind , faith and patience to search for true spiritual knowledge..

Teaching people the veda without them following the required tapas is like giving a monkey a loaded AK47 or grenade. Please don't give advise if you are not qualified to do so. Understand the situation properly.

First we have to learn the Prakriti patha then we can go for vikruti patha. Ghanam is so complex form of recitation.

This is the correct term "pancha Sandhi " for this type of recital. Pancha santhi is 5 santhis recited to gether. Both are correct
