I remember when I first heard this song I was so baked in the seat of my car in my driveway..I then went into a deep part in my mind were it was full of joy happiness and bliss. & This warmth feeling came all over my body and my body as lifted off the ground.
I was like 15 when this song came out and a die hard Mac fan and when I first heard this song I was so thrown off by how different it was from everything else he had ever done that. I had no idea what Mac was even doing at this point. Fast forward years later, I'm almost 28 and not only do I love this song now, I think it's mind-blowing. He made this when he was 20 years old after purposefully moving away from a style that made him incredibly famous because he wasn't happy with being locked into a single box. What an incredible artistic journey I was lucky enough to get to witness when I did

And I've just been drinkin and popping pills to at least somewhat comfort me, because no one else really can.

I've never experienced anything like this before, but the chorus just absolutely broke me down and I instantly started crying out of nowhere. I bawled for like a minute, then stopped as suddenly as it started.
And now i feel like a huge weight was lifted from my shoulders 😭
