Absolute favorite Mac song. I can't get enough of this new "trip hop(?)" trend. These types of instrumentals are just so immersive and compliment the depth. Clammy Clams needs to do more rap collabs.

If you didn't know Mac Miller once said all of his albums end in Death, except for the Divine Feminine.
So this is the last song on Blue Slide Park.
I think the only reason Divine Feminine didn't end in death is because its the only album he released while truly happy.
I mean technically, Divine Feminine ends with his grandmother telling the love story of her and his Poppy...who had passed away, and honoring his memory...love going beyond death...so yes, that one ended in death in a sense as well... I just realized as I wrote this that it's yet another musical circle...lasting love, old age and death at the end of the album, while the beginning has child voices, giggling, congratulations...like a new love, or new beginning. Fuck Mac, please come back. I don't think there was ever an artist more special and I wish the whole world could really see it, I wish you really felt it and knew it when you were here. I hope you feel the love we send you always... 😭🪞👍💖☯️🏊♀️♾️

Mac is deff more creative and I LOVE faces. But idk man just doesnt seem the same, he doesnt have that happiness, and the young mind frame about wanting to just drink, smoke and kick it anymore. I think I kinda feel that way because we both went through growing up around the same time. Had to deal with real life shit... I just think I miss how I feel while I listened to his old stuff... and those times.

I don't think drinking and smoking leads onto other stuff, most people grow out of doing that kind of stuff as kids. rather the thing that leads people onto other stuff is simply the stress of life. I definitely don't think partying as a kid leads onto doing harder stuff.

K.I.D.S AND BDE were great mixtapes and obviously me listening to this song tells you I still enjoy BSP, but Mac's style has changed as Malcolm grew up and I think in everyway for better. The party/turnt-up phase of his career is gone.
