- I react to more NCT sub units! Today I watched NCT DREAM-‘RIDIN’ and NCT 127 ‘STICKER’. I really enjoyed RIDIN but sticker kind of disappointed me. I expected something much different but everyone has different opinions and that just happens to be mine!

Don't feel bad about your first reaction to Sticker! I had about the same reaction the first time I heard it. Days later I love it! NCT, especially 127 (one two seven) has very experimental sounds and 9 out of 10 times I end up liking the songs after a couple of plays!

Hahaa that's okay if you didn't like "sticker", everyone has different music tastes especially when it is an experimental song like "sticker". I personally like the song but I understand why a lot of people didn't enjoy it !
I definitely applaud them for going out of their comfort zone and trying new sounds n stuff! And thank you aha I wanted to like it, just wasnt my thing I guess
i'll be honest my vibe that i really like from all the unit is nct dream..i really like their title song and their new album..idk dream is really my kind of music that i like.😊
😂 When you were listening Sticker you looked like you didn't know if cry or laugh haha and it's all fine girl, we have different taste of music. Actually, It's not my favorite too, it wasn't what I expected.. like for some reason the beat made no sense but anyway.. I really hope you can give them a second chance 'cuz seriously, their other songs are completely different, I promise. ✋🏻

Sticker got the fandom very devided lmao, I myself loved sticker the moment I heard it but that's because I love nct's experimental songs (they are known to be a very experimental group especially nct127) some songs like "sticker" need a few listens for you to get it and love it!

i totally understand the reaction to sticker, it's more of a grower song (but if doesn't grow on you, that's ok! music is subjective!). but please keep reacting to them, i swear the rest of the album is completely different to sticker 🥺 (personal recommendation: lemonade, either the video track or one of the performances. trust me, you'll love it!)

Thanks for reacting to NCT, I'll be waiting for more! NCT is a group with very experimental music, they don't like to fit into a pattern and that's why their music needs to grow in people. Just as you didn't like Sticker, I don't like Ridin either and that's fine 😅

I love the recorder/flute sound because I play the recorder hahhahahaha but I was so confused when I first listened to it too. But I love the fact that they are very unique and experimental. I love unique things :) 127 is my fav unit haha
I think for sticker you might feel like that moment that you want to sneeze but it doesn’t come out lol. I have a reason here - that piano chords is building up the tension and most of kpop song they release that tension out in chorus but this song won’t. They just decided to cut out the melody and put that flute sound instead. I genuinely love this so much. Sticker just makes kpop industry more fun and experimental as 127 concept 😁 I guess if you dig in to nct as a whole your fav unit might be wayv or nct dream. Bc nct127 always comes with weird noises and a little confused song constructions. They are way easier to listen than 127
Fyi - 127 b-sides are normal and insanely bless hahaha feel free to listen to them.
That’s exactly what it felt like! I couldn’t put my finger on it. And yeah im impressed with their experimental visions, it’s very refreshing to see. I’ll definitely keep checking them out
Thanks for reacting to Nct I have a suggestion tho if u really wanna know the members names and some things about the sub units and nct as a whole maybe u should react to an NCT guide it really helps to understand what NCT means and help u understand more of their concepts and story
One channels NCT guide that I highly recommend is CLKX fiction
There are three parts to the guide the first part explains the units in more depth.
The second part introduces u to NCT's hyung line (older members. Their also in age order from oldest to youngest) and what their positions are in the group and some fun extra facts or things about them like where they were born.
The third part introduces u to the Maknae line (younger members) u probably have to look for a guide about their 2 newest members (Shotaro and Sungchan) these guides will help u understand more of how and why there are so many members in NCT.
Oh and can u maybe film your full reaction to the three guides cus I would love to see your reaction to them if u decide that your gonna react to the guides.

(also, if you're a new nctzen prepare yourself for new concepts/sounds since every comeback has a different sound from the one before it.) the problem with Sticker is that it needs a few listens to get used to it/like it. because the flute sound maybe kinda new (?) for the audience in general as well as nctzens

I HATED that f*cking flute and tapping sound for at least the first 30 some odd listens streaming it repeatedly the first day... but then FINALLY, my brain was able to let them blend into the rest of the instrumental and now I absolutely love the song and weirdly can't remember why it sounded SO utterly different.
It's definitely a grower, as are most 127 title tracks. See Punch... NCTzens were super divided on it as well. (personally I loved it right away because they can whisper at me all damn day! 🤷♀️😬) SM in general though is very much, 'we set the trend - we don't follow it' and as a result are usually ahead of their time... so with NCT in the future, it's a good habit to just try not to have any expectations going in... other than it WILL be different from anything they've done before, and that they'll look amazing doing it. 😄
Hopefully, by now you've checked out the rest of the album as it deserves so much praise (particularly the track video for Lemonade or the Bring The Noize stage, SO. FREAKIN'. HOT.). Generally speaking though, people who hated Sticker, typically loved Lemonade and wished it was the title track instead... and I love it too, but literally any boy group could do Lemonade... whereas only 127 would even attempt Sticker, let alone pull it off in the way that they did.
Recently they dropped a behind the scenes for when they first heard the demo, which I really respect SM for, because even the members were like, '😳 uhhhhh k...' at first. 😄 But, 10 music show wins later and the first 'All-Kill' by a boy group since 2017, I think they made the right decision. (to give context, not even BTS has had an all-kill)

I’ve tried several times after the first reaction and I’m sorry to say that I still really don’t like it😬 but music is subjective. Everyone likes what they like and that’s okay!
