THANK YOU! I've been freaking out over the Christmas thing in the opening, and so far I haven't seen another reaction channel pick up on it, I thought I was going insane. Yes TVXQ only have 2 members now, the guy doing the "bringing the energy" is Yunho, aka U-Know and the other member is Changmin aka Max. They've been in the industry for 20 years and are 2nd gen giants. They started out as a 5 member boy group, intended as an acapella group, their vocals are amazing, in 2009, 3 of the members left and formed JYJ, Jaejoong aka Hero, Yoochun aka Micky, Junsu aka Xia, they all have solo songs and albums outside of their respective groups except for Yoochun who focused on acting, and I think he now has left the industry after a scandal, and because of some legal issues he still has a broadcasting ban which means he can't continue his career in entertainment. I highly recommend checking out more from them, they have a very varied discography, you may not like all of it, but you will definitely find other songs that are up your ally as well. Had to edit Yoochuns stage name from Mickey to Micky..
Tvxq has been in the industry for 20 years , they are two members ( they debut with 5 members but in 2009 I believe 3 members left and they continue with 2 members ) I really recommend down ( it’s a b-side in the same album but it was pre-released ) Changmin have a crazy vocals U-know is one of the best dancers in kpop ( in my opinion )
Duuuude, what a way to find TVXQ. This was released on their 20th anniversary. Absolute legends of the 2nd gen. They’ve been releasing solo stuff in Korea the past few years (look up Max Changmin and Yunho U-KNOW, then prepare yourself for greatness), but they’ve also been pushing hard in Japan lately (they were one of the first Korean groups to break into Japan and still have a huge fanbase). Also, the song you’re reminded of is “The Carol of the Bells.” It’s not just you! 😁
Yes, Down is incredible (and a bit easier listening). If you’re into vocals, check out the dance mv of Before You Go. They’re not shy of shifting genres either, so “Something” is a fun jazzy one. Catch Me has dubstep vibes and really cool visuals, so that’s another one to look into. Honestly, I’ve followed them since 06, and all their stuff is great 😊 Would love to see you react to more!!
That’s a duo. This is their 20th anniversary album. They did start out as five but it’s been just the two of them since 2011. And yep, Changmin whose skin you were admiring is 35. Yunho stage name Yunho Uknow, guy with the deep voice is 37. They debuted as teenagers. No signs of slowing down either. They are amazing.
This is TVXQ - the absolute legends of the kpop genre who are celebrating their 20th anniversary this year. They have been a duo since 2011, they were a group of 5 between 2003-2010. TVXQ has an incredibly long and diverse discography that i highly recommend you check out, including their 9th album, 20&2 out now.
you’re not an idiot 😅 but welcome to TVXQ, the idol of idols. 😂 Rebel is the title track of their 20&2 album in celebration of their 20th anniversary. they also have Down, a pre-release track. go watch that too! TVXQ debuted in 2003 as 5 members. then in 2009, 3 members left and they’ve been a duo since. you should go watch their killing voice! they sing their most popular songs for a little over 30 minutes 😆😆😆 they also have successful solo careers as well 😊😊😊 and yes. you’re right about their age. Yunho is 37 and Changmin is 35 😆😆😆
20 years in the business and they still make great music. I dont follow them so long, I only know them as a duo although they were 5 members a long time ago. Mirotic probably is my favourite song (which btw exists in another version by a german female singer, both got the song, when I found out about Mirotic it really sounded familiar). We need more 2nd gen idols on reaction channels. I think there could be a few groups you would like...BigBang being one of them. You btw saw these two guys on Kingdom. They were the hosts. Well Changmin was later on alone hosting. TVXQ's new songs are awesome though.
TVXQ's "Rebel" is their lead track from their 9th full-length Korean album, 20&2 -- 20 years and still 2 members strong -- which was released on their anniversary, Dec. 26, as a celebration of their 20th anniversary. You now need to see them perform "Rebel" with the choreography live. You think it looks crazy in the MV, but they actually do most of that all live as well. If you haven't yet, you should also check out their pre-release track from this album, called "Down." And you definitely need to check out their Killing Voice performance. TVXQ truly are all-time legends in the music industry. As an SM Entertainment group, it's no surprise that they are outstanding vocalists. TVXQ was originally supposed to be a purely acapella group, so they all have amazing vocals. They actually have several acapella performances in their early days that really showcase how amazing they were as vocalists. TVXQ is one of the reasons why SM is known as a vocal powerhouse and why the company has come to be known for having some of the best dancers and vocalists in the industry. Here is some background to help you understand the dynamics of TVXQ better. TVXQ (English and Chinese)/DBSK (Korean)/ Tohoshinki (Japanese), which each are the abbreviations/acronyms of the words in each language that translates to mean "Rising Gods of the East," debuted in 2003 as a 5 member group. But, in 2010 three of their members left SM Entertainment and the group and formed a new group called JYJ -- the initials of the members: Junsu, Yoochun and Jaejoong. (Up until recently, JYJ was still a group and they still produced music, but because they left SM Entertainment -- one of the most powerful and influential companies in the industry -- on less than ideal terms, it has made it more difficult for them to promote themselves and their music. So the members of JYJ are more known as actors and producers than they are as singers now.) However, Max/Changmin and U-Know/Yunho continued as TVXQ as a duo. As you can see, even now as a duo they are so talented that they have the vocal range to cover all the parts of a song between the two of them, including rap. Changmin (the youngest member) was 15 and U-Know was 17 years old when they debuted. Therefore, although they are one of the senior Kpop groups, Changmin is only 35 and U-Know is 37. TVXQ is SM's most senior group that is still active, but U-Know and Changmin are still younger than, or the same age as, many of the members of the legendary groups who came after them within their generation. They are best friends with Super Junior and they pretty much all grew up together. Changmin is also best friends with Minho from SHINee. And Xiumin from EXO says Changmin was one of the reason why he auditioned for SM because he wanted to meet Changmin and become like him. As you heard, Changmin is known for his powerful high notes -- even more powerful than Onew or Jonghyun from SHINee or Chen and Baekhyun from EXO -- he literally has one of the widest note ranges of almost any Kpop artist. In a high note battle he always wins. It wouldn't be a TVXQ/Changmin song if we didn't get to hear at least one unbelievable high note from him. (Fun fact: Changmin got married in 2020 and he became a father to a boy last year.) U-Know is known for his dancing and his passion for dancing and singing. He is also the rapper of the group. (U-Know truly loves what he does and doesn't hide it. He will tell you he is proud of his accomplishments and he is proud of his work. His off-the-charts passion and intensity is kind of a running joke within the industry. It's one of the things he is most known for.) The funny thing is personality-wise, Changmin and U-Know are complete opposites in almost every way. Changmin is quiet, calm and level headed and prefers to be alone; and U-Know is loud, high energy, intense and prefers to be with a group of people. Tohoshinki (TVXQ) are one of the most famous singers in Japan as well, even among Japanese artists. And like SHINee and BoA, etc., they are so popular in Japan that they are considered part of the mainstream music scene. TVXQ has one of the biggest worldwide fan bases and they sell out some of the largest concert venues in the world. They are one of SM Entertainment's top selling groups, easily selling out concert tours around the world. TVXQ's fandom is Cassiopeia and their fan color is pearl red -- which is why you see one of the primary colors in most of TVXQ's MVs is red -- and when you attend a TVXQ concert you will see an ocean of red. Welcome to the Cassiopeia fandom. (Their fandom is named after the 5-starred constellation, Cassiopeia, because they originally were 5 members who were supposed to be gods who came from the stars.) If you like TVXQ then you are a Cassi. (In Japan their fans are called BigEast because Tohoshinki are Gods of the East and they have one of the largest fandoms.)
Yup . They r a duo :) Yunho & Changmin . U can try to check out Yunho solo album True color , Noir & Reality Show . He made 3 korea mini solo album so far & i think the album was so cool
TVXQ (can also be spelled DBSK, stands for Rising Gods of the East) are a legendary group, the kings of Kpop. They're the group that got me into Kpop way back in 2009. As all the other comments have said, they were originally a 5 member group and 3 members sued the company and left a long time ago (started the standard of 7-year contracts in Kpop lol), and Changmin and Yunho continued as a duo and kept being iconic. Yes, that was a Christmas sample in the beginning; they debuted on December 26, 2003 and they released this 20th anniversary album exactly 20 years later. In their debut performance they sang a Christmas song so I'm assuming that's the tie-in. Changmin was my very first Kpop bias, and still no one can touch his high notes. I recommend checking out his solo stuff (Devil, Maniac, Chocolate, Human - they all have MVs). Yunho has had some great solos as well, and he seems to be your bias lol. But Changmin's voice...can't be beat. Check out Down, from the same 20th anniversary album, it has an MV. You'll see what I mean about Changmin's voice.
Thanks for reacting to TVXQ! Please check out their song Down. Also I’m pretty sure the sample is from Carol of the bells. It caught me by surprise to hear Christmas music mixed in, but then again it’s SM ENT. and they have a very experimental sound usually. Thanks as always and Happy Holidays ☃️
@@TeddyGreyOS Mirotic is an absolute classic, one of the most famous songs of 2nd Gen kpop. If you do react to it, make sure you check the release date before you watch, just to put the music and the video in the right context in your mind. (Note they were 5 at the time of Mirotic, too - three members have since left, so they continued on as a duo.)
Thank you for your reaction!! ❤ TVXQ has been around for 20 years now and are still going strong! yes please do more TVXQ reaction videos!! 😍 Even their solo stuff plus the other 3 members (JYJ) who are no longer with TVXQ. The world couldn’t handle all 5 members together 😆🎈🎈🎈🎈🎈
2:36 yes he is swagyy an he is changmin best vocal an can rapp an of course he is a good performer, u should just react for his solo for sure , 4:43 our Godd rapper god performer god vocal you know ?? u-Know 😂 its his name and i can not describe him in a word he just a legend both of them actualy so please react for their past songs mirotic! why! they have so many good songs
TVXQ used to be 5, but 3 split so only 2 remain. But I looove the 2. They are tough and beat all the odds. You should listen to their japanese version songs. Personally I like their japanese versions bettet. Btw, in japan they are called tohoshinki
They were actually the host for Kingdom Legendary War. The rapper U Know is actually 38 and Changmin is 35. They started out as 5 member group and have been a duo for sometime. You should check out Down. It also from this come back.
TVXQ! usually makes music beyond the current generation, different, it's the core of them. So if you don't get the rhythm right now, later you'll see the groups with those rhythms years later in kpop.
The first time I heard it I couldn't believe my ears I was like '' is that what I think it is '' carol bells'' Omg, I've been stunning this guys for almost my whole life 17 years TVXQ DAMN SM doing shit to my boys along with EXO
I am so glad that you have reacted to them.Their last album is amazing.I was speechless after I watched Rebel and Down MV's. Watch Down MV as well, please🙏
THE BALANCE and experience of TVXQ! ☯️ 🔥 is exquisite. The highlight of DOWN is Changmin's spectacular high notes🔥The highlight of REBEL is Yunho's super low register rapping 🔥 Their discography is HUGE since jazz to boleros. Their japaneses songs! Cheff kiss~ THE STAGE PRESENCE. It's the only group where their lives are better than recorded 🔥
Thank you for the reaction video. I highly recommend all the music video from Changmin's 2nd solo album like "Devil", "Fever", "Maniac" or his Japanese solo album like "Human". Also, for Yunho, "Thank U" from his 2nd solo album is my favorite.
My ADHD self related so much to the begining of this video I had to comment; The song you're thinking of in the begining is "Carol of the Bells". Also that screech for U-Know makes me ugly laugh; We've all been there a time or two lol P.S. As someone who has been a fan of these guys since debut; They've never aged a day and it's creepy. The only thing that changes about these guys is their builds (slightly) and their hairstyles. (Anyone who remembers the Rising Sun music video know exactly what I'm talking about lol)
They are second gen and there was more members in the beginning but due to some conflicts with the agency most of them left years ago and it's duo since then. Both of them have great solos too. I would recommend reacting to Mirotic by TVXQ - it's one of K-pop classics, Thank U by U-Know - I can promise you, the MV is craaaaazy, you will love it, Devil by Changmin - everything by him to be honest, he has a perfect solo discography. Chocolate too, my favourite 😊
The motif they keep using is Carol of the bells. Crazy to think music written by a Ukranian composer as a New Years song in 1914 has ended up in some futuristic kpop song over 100 years later. You're right in that John Williams arranged a version for Home Alone, but the song is far older than that.
K RnB for sure exo RnB music Kai sliding , beakhyun cry for love , dean Instagram,Kai amnesia, ten birthday, junny invitation and by my side , keshi limbo and understand, dvwn feat yay young insomnia , and colde feat beakhyun hope you like it
Lol how you don't know TVXQ!! you really need to react to all of their MVs and react to newest one as well TVXQ! Down... Max changmin has one of the best voices in KPOP Industry if not the best especially his high notes!! and yup it's only 2 members 😂😂😂 U-know and Changmin and yes they are one of the oldest group in industry they were just celebrating their 20th anniversary this month they are 37 and 35 years old but they both looks younger than us 😂😂
@@anabananadwaekki Maybe on a different year of Kingdom? I just finished Legendary War and it was only Max Changmin hosting. Unless I’m crazy lol please let me know.
I have never heard of them but am already a fan. Your channel brings me new music, thanks!! I straight up was thinking, they sound like Stray Kidz a bit, but now realize it’s stray Kidz who have a bit of their sound. Can’t wait to hear more!!
CAN YOU PLEASE REACT TO SB19 LIVE PERFORMANCE @AAA2023 ( ASIA ARTIST AWARDS 2023 IN MANILA, PHILIPPINES. SB19 WON 2 AWARDS - HOT TREND AWARDS & BEST ASIA ARTIST AWARDS ( SINGER CATEGORY). ❤❤❤
Please react to DEAN "Bonnie and Clyde" and his song "3am Freestyle" with Tabber and Kim Ximya. DEAN has an amazing voice, and to really hear it, you should listen to "Sometimes I Hear Howling in my Head". You would also enjoy Tabber "Like A Vampire" and "007" with Syd from The Internet. DEAN also has a song with Syd called "Love" that is great too.
Omg yes this song is a banger🙏 also hoping for a reaction to a guide to Bts members. I think you mentioned you would do that cant rlly remember but I hope you do :)
Mis Shinkis ❤ El rango vocal de Changmin es increíble , conocelo . El fue MC en Kingdom donde estaba ATEEZ y otros grupos 😊 Es mas juntar a Changmin y Jongho seria maravilloso 🎉🎉🎉
I enjoyed this video! Never heard of these singer before! They used the base of the original “Shchedryk” ukrainian song! We know it today as “Carol of the bells”! Very cool! If you see my comment i’d like to recommend you a very particular musician. Something very different from what you usually react to! He’s a guitarist from Poland! His name is Marcin Patrzalek and i suggest you the video of the song “Still D.R.E.” Of Dr. Dre played on one acoustic guitar! I’m pretty sure you’re going to like it. Go and take a look. Take care.
Enjoyed your reaction! So much LMAO ❤ They also just released an MV for Down another song on their new album for their 20th anniversary! I recommend diving deep into all their stuff they used to be 5 members and all 5 have incredible vocals and skills!
Wow I’m so glad to watch you review this legendary kpop group “TVXQ!” They’re so talented and make the special songs every single albums ❤ I suggest you should react “Down” this is one of the title song in this album as well. I bet you Changmin’s high voices could make you MAD for sure 😁

4:42 He is Uknow. And I guess you will like his song ‘DROP’.
The first time I heard it I couldn't believe my ears I was like '' is that what I think it is '' carol bells'' Omg, I've been stunning this guys for almost my whole life 17 years TVXQ DAMN SM doing shit to my boys along with EXO
You’ll love u-know’s solo song, Follow. Go give it a watch or a reaction for us 😂 they are considered the kings of k-pop, royalty for a reason hahaha
The song you were looking for is carol of the bells
I am so glad that you have reacted to them.Their last album is amazing.I was speechless after I watched Rebel and Down MV's. Watch Down MV as well, please🙏
Tvxq!!! They are one of the foundations of SM. Literal idol of idols. And the talent is just...chef's kiss.
TVXQ ❤ thanks for you reaction
Please also react to TVXQ's MV Down. So good! 😊
Yes, down was so good.
Yes they're duo 😂
TVXQ - Mirotic NEXT! 🙏It's the bop of the bops an all time fave!
Tvxq ❤❤
THE BALANCE and experience of TVXQ! ☯️ 🔥 is exquisite. The highlight of DOWN is Changmin's spectacular high notes🔥The highlight of REBEL is Yunho's super low register rapping 🔥 Their discography is HUGE since jazz to boleros. Their japaneses songs! Cheff kiss~ THE STAGE PRESENCE. It's the only group where their lives are better than recorded 🔥
yes many first gen or second gen korean idols are in they're 40 years old like TVXQ members , Boa or SUPER JUNIOR members and they all look 25 max .
TVXQ is still under 40 but yeah....
Thank you for the reaction video. I highly recommend all the music video from Changmin's 2nd solo album like "Devil", "Fever", "Maniac" or his Japanese solo album like "Human". Also, for Yunho, "Thank U" from his 2nd solo album is my favorite.
no doubt, bets of the best
Hey papiiiii 😍
My ADHD self related so much to the begining of this video I had to comment; The song you're thinking of in the begining is "Carol of the Bells". Also that screech for U-Know makes me ugly laugh; We've all been there a time or two lol
P.S. As someone who has been a fan of these guys since debut; They've never aged a day and it's creepy. The only thing that changes about these guys is their builds (slightly) and their hairstyles. (Anyone who remembers the Rising Sun music video know exactly what I'm talking about lol)
Please react to down. Its also their new song 🥰
You have to watch U know thank you mv …it is a brilliant song 😊
Please listen to Down TVXQ and Chocolate by max changmin 😊
They are second gen and there was more members in the beginning but due to some conflicts with the agency most of them left years ago and it's duo since then.
Both of them have great solos too. I would recommend reacting to Mirotic by TVXQ - it's one of K-pop classics,
Thank U by U-Know - I can promise you, the MV is craaaaazy, you will love it,
Devil by Changmin - everything by him to be honest, he has a perfect solo discography. Chocolate too, my favourite 😊
One of the members, Changmin, was the host on Kingdom 🤣
Both were😊
Please react to TVXQ’s old five member songs, those were the best!
PETITION TO REACT NCT 127’s SIMON SAYS! HELP ME OUT HERE GUYS!!!
Teddy idk if you ever heard of him but you should check out a rapper named lucki, u wont be disappointed😉
You have to react to their song "Catch Me" 🙌🏼
The motif they keep using is Carol of the bells. Crazy to think music written by a Ukranian composer as a New Years song in 1914 has ended up in some futuristic kpop song over 100 years later. You're right in that John Williams arranged a version for Home Alone, but the song is far older than that.
MORE TVXQ REACTION PLEASE. SPECIALLY THEIR PERFORMANCE ON KILLING VOICE
K RnB for sure exo RnB music
Kai sliding , beakhyun cry for love , dean Instagram,Kai amnesia, ten birthday, junny invitation and by my side , keshi limbo and understand, dvwn feat yay young insomnia , and colde feat beakhyun hope you like it

Max changmin has one of the best voices in KPOP Industry if not the best especially his high notes!! and yup it's only 2 members 😂😂😂 U-know and Changmin and yes they are one of the oldest group in industry they were just celebrating their 20th anniversary this month they are 37 and 35 years old but they both looks younger than us 😂😂
yeeeesssss kings
One of the members (Max Changmin) was the host of Kingdom Legendary War.
They both were the MCs 😊
@@anabananadwaekki Maybe on a different year of Kingdom? I just finished Legendary War and it was only Max Changmin hosting. Unless I’m crazy lol please let me know.
@@Whambam87 lol not sure why most people only remember Changmin, but they are both on as presenters 😅 watch ep 1 again, when they all first come in 😀
I have never heard of them but am already a fan. Your channel brings me new music, thanks!!

I am 100 % you will like it
I enjoyed this video!
Please react to NCT - Perfume.
Probably the strongest RnB title track inside of KPop this year.
Absolute RnB bliss.

Wow I’m so glad to watch you review this legendary kpop group “TVXQ!”
They’re so talented and make the special songs every single albums ❤ I suggest you should react “Down” this is one of the title song in this album as well. I bet you Changmin’s high voices could make you MAD for sure 😁
this feels like they opened the nct 127's demo songs file and chosen from it haha
TVXQ! Are the hosts in kingdom legendary war, so you've already seen them even if you didn't realise that was them.
Day 9 of requesting Lorna Shore's "...And I Return To Nothingness" EP. It's not _that_ heavy.
Check Sidhu moosewla Chorni song with Devine 😢😢😢 Love from India
