I just did the replacement. took quite some time to really get it working. Im using energizer power plus(700mah), and I got around 1hour and 15mins runtime which is an improvement. Here are some tips that could help
    1. Use a knife to slowly make a clean cut at the weld spot on the metal piece-battery
    2. Im just using a regular tape to attach the metal piece back to the battery
    3. Avoid any freeplay on the battery and metal piece(hardest part).
    4. If the runtime is short or theres a buzzing sound when the charger is connected, its indication metal piece is not properly attach to the battery

I have a 3342 , it was easier than this . I just had to remove the gray accent which only had 5 clips then remove the button which was just a pull and then push the inner components out of the other housing with tiny pull force . My issue was that it was not charging fortunately it was a small issue the bottom input pins were disconnected from the battery by some removable pins that got knocked off due to a fall , pushed them in place and everything worked like it should . Note : the water seals may come off and need to be put back in place

      @davianceable 6 ปีที่แล้ว +3

ı asked it and solved it for those who attempt to replace batteries ,when u put new battery in either it is charged or not it would not work till you connect the charger cable once and disconnect it than it starts working ,that is because you have to introduce new battery to device by this method.

I just tried this with my 4 years old QG3381 and it failed :/
Be aware that the two AAA are held together and held to the PCB via tiny metal strips that are spot welded (high intensity, short duration welding) that you probably won't be able to reproduce at home.
The PCB strips more or less hold contact via physical constraint (just pushing on the batteries) but it's much more difficult for the bottom strip. People here mention holding it with tape but it's pretty difficult to maintain contact and you can't be sure the tape will hold in the long run.
    Here is what I did:
    - Disassemble batteries (use a knife or small flat screwdriver to break the spot weld strips)
    - Hold the bottom strip to the batteries with tape
    - Bend the PCB strips slightly inward (toward batteries) so that they maintain contact more easily (like a spring)
    - Put everything back into place with new batteries (rechargeable NiMh 900 mAh Duracell). Watch the polarities. I tried to put it voluntarily backward and the shaver motor would start to run at low speed without me doing anything.
    - Plug the charger, it blinked orange/green alternatively for 2-3 min then only blinking green (not solid green for me, should it ?). I hear a small buzzing during this part, I can't tell if it was there before I disassemble, I didn't test beforehand :/
    - Press the ON button => 8 orange blinks and then nothing
    - Repeat same process but with the original batteries: same result blinking orange
The 6R8 inductor is running really hot after 5-10 min (burning the tip of my finger hot).
Any idea what is wrong with my repair ? Since it doesn't even work anymore with orinal batteries, could it be that I bricked it ?

If you didn't remove the original batteries yet, can you tell me if you hear a small buzzing during charging if you put your ear close to the batteries ? Can you also tell me if the small component with "6R8" written on it is running hot after 10 minutes charging ?

Absolute piece of rubbish of an appliance from Philips, purchased one multigroom 7000 series and didn't even last to the end of the warranty with very little use, couldn't recharge at all!
Sent it to repair while it was under warranty and after a couple of months, it's not recharging again!!
Last but not least, it doesn't even work while recharging and to replace the batteries it's how you see in the video... and I don't even know if it's easy to find rechargeable batteries for such a piece of shit of a product, I highly advise to purchase something else!!!
