UNCOVERING hidden DANGER in this OVERGROWN yard- part two

  • This video is part two of this series and is the follow on from the front yard and garden bed restorations. In this video I will be mowing thick grass, edging, removing miscellaneous items and uncovering potential hazards.
After completing the first section of the cleanup the resident told me he was so amazed at the new look of his front yard and said his cats didn't even recognise the place!
Just like our mental health this yard is a journey. It's been a bit of a challenge for me with the cold and wet weather, I'm also a little sick but will continue chipping away at this yard.
This work is 100% free to the residents as we in Australia have a cost of living crisis. It's affecting everyone and makes it harder for those who did not have much to begin with. It means a lot to me to be able to do this for these people.
Please consider mowing down that like and subscribe button.

What a great thing to do for people. We all are responsible for helping people that have mental illness. We may not be able to do BIG things, but we can smile and say hello to people as we pass them. Compliment a pretty blouse, a nice shirt, a great haircut. We can be a part of the change. Thank you for all you do

This has been my attitude since early childhood, Sylvia. The tragedy is that I was unwanted, unloved, and treated like an emotional cripple for decades, while many of the offenders took advantage of my high intelligence and wide skill-set. Now, I'm afraid to be kind, in case someone decides they want something from me. At 72, I have little left to give, emotionally or physically, and what I have, I need for myself. While I applaud what Tyler does, I'm exquisitely aware of the "tyranny of the weak", as per Dr. M. Scott Peck. Who knows whether I changed anything by my example? All I know is I've become a misanthrope, preferring my own company to that of any human being. 😔😞😮‍💨

You did a fantastic job. I’m noticing a lot of houses windows are close to the ground. They all appear to have water damage. Our houses are higher up on a foundation. Thank goodness you found the butter knife and other hazardous materials. Man, if your trimmer had hit that you could have been seriously injured. You took a lot of stuff out of that yard.

Gloves, gaiters, respirator mask, hat, safety sunglasses(?) and a red beastie combined with the orange bagging beastie and most of all Tyler who analyzes area for best solution/use/collection of green waste and now-broken/useless debris...the yard almost sighs a breath of relief. You da man, mate. The client must be relieved as well. Peace of mind is priceless. Thank you, bro'. Live long and prosper❤😊. 🖖🙏

Just found your channel. There's no introduction at all. Where you moving? Why? Nothing. No story behind what you're cutting which kind of makes it pointless to watch. It's just a guy cutting grass. Also, the screws you took, is that your property? I've never seen anyone take things in lawn care channels? The music does NOT go with a lawn care channel. I'm not saying this to be mean. I'm saying it to make your channel better. Watching other channels, they give introductions, don't play music and give us a chance to get to know them and what their mission is on a particular job. There's nothing on this video even close to that. Just my opinion. I will watch your next video to see if anything has changed and go from there. If not, I won't watch again. 💙@@MowingForMentalHealth

@@yinyangforyouwhy do you need to know the details of why Tyler is helping this resident. It’s kinda irrelevant where it is or why. As for “taking property that doesn’t belong to him” maybe watch more than just this video before you pass judgement. Tyler often repairs damaged mowers and items found and returns them to give the resident a give them a chance to keep up maintenance or will replant salvaged plants from a previous property that were unwanted and/or close to death. The absolute love and care Tyler displays is amazing. Keep up the awesome work legend. I love it (and your music)

Enjoying your channel. I especially like when you reclaim a flower bed and do plantings. I appreciate the detail in all that you do. 😊

The initial edging set a good standard. Almost apalling how a small area and basically small objects can get lost and forgotten in a yard, no harm intended, and still be big hazards if not discovered. Glad you found things. Grime Lines appear in odd places, you have one at 10:08, where there is the area you managed to mow so far, next to the area not mowed yet. We have a tall local grass and I mow 1/2 row width for that, noted you began doing that with the Scag where it was very thick and wet, and it went easier on you and the mower. Liked the choice of removing bricks from an earlier planting bed. The area will be much easier to maintain. Thanks for doing the cleanup and sorting. For this person, "time for change" hit. What is no longer used has to go, and what can be cared for in the future, created. Good Before and After photos.
