Is Sibiu Romania's prettiest Transylvanian town?

  • Surrounded on three sides by mountains, Sibiu is often said to be the most beautiful town in Romania’s Transylvania region (although that’s highly subjective since fans of several comparable cities might beg to differ). But for classic Transylvanian architecture and quaintness, you can’t go wrong with Sibiu.
Everything here is condensed and walkable and the ambience is laid-back and unrushed. In fact, if you’re looking to eat breakfast don’t expect to find many restaurants open before 10 a.m. But even that has an upside, allowing time for morning strolls to take it all in from less-crowded pedestrian streets and plazas.

I hope you are well. Visiting your channel I have seen your all videos and content are very good but your video SEO optimization is not professional. Perhaps you are busy for managing the channel.

It's hardly Romanian, as it's essentially a German town (Herrmanstadt) built under the kingdom of Hungary. Romanians are champions at cultural appropriation.

Yeah but it's in Romania now. It doesn't matter what happened in the past. Cernăuți was built by romanians and was stolen by USSR and then sold to Ukrainiane. Is Cernăuți still romanian? No. It's ukrainian now. There are a small number of romanians there but that's it, only a minority. The same thing applies to Transylvania. This was just an example. We also lost a lot of land but we don't really complain about it nowadays.

@@shadowrock "It doesn't matter what happened in the past". Really? Alright, then please bulldoze everything that was built pre-1920 in Herrmanstadt. What's the trouble, as "it doesn't matter"?...

@@yagi3925 I didn't mean "it doesn't matter" as in " nothing built here matters anymore". Transilvania has a long history. It's just that pretty much nobody cares about Transylvania anymore. The only complains are mostly on the Internet. I've never heard hungarians screaming "We want Transilvania back" oder so ungefähr. Most hungarians I met don't care about it so why fight at all?

As usual a Hungarian moaning on the internet about their good old empire days when Austria used to be the lords and the Hungarians the peasants of the old empire. Romanian people worked at the construction of the town too. Stop spreading fake information as if you lived 800 years ago and remember it vividly.
