Yeah.... The Ratte wouldnt even need both main guns. The sheer concussion of one of those shells landing nearby would effectively kill all of those SUs. And probably send their burning wrecks flipping around for a second if reports from the D-Day inland bombardment missions are anything to go by... Honestly, its a waste of ammo. The Maus turrets on the rear would be better suited to anti tank work. The main cannons would be better suited to leveling the city that dared get in its way...

Thinking about it....a 1000 Ton panzer would actually be able to move quite "fast" as the usage of ship Engines could provide more than enough Ps/Ton for adequate movement

The Ratte's armor is "only" 150-360 mm, modern tanks have an effective armor of 700mm+, but due to its size, it's more unlikely that you hit important parts of the Ratte
Honestly. The idea of a Tank battleship is cool concept except doesnt sound probable when you think about it more. It could be just aerial bombed by a bunch of airplanes and the fuel and resources to keep it going would take a lot more. Im sure there are more others that I haven't thought of right away
The p1000 ratte was a mass produced tank made to stop Russian KV6 that where undefeated causing destruction across Germany because tanks like the panzer 4 and panzer one had not been invented yet meaning german troops only had small arms like the BF109 and 20mm mg42 variants
