I've been following your MJS battles for about 6 months now. Really enjoy your stuff even though I'm not your typical viewer, being a retired British accountant. This means that most of your cultural references miss me completely. (Although your American Boy parody lives rent free in my head). I can however relate to your MJS struggles as I'm at Master 1 level myself, and seemingly unable to get to Master 2. Anyway, I've noticed one consistent inaccuracy in your defence, so thought I'd share. When in full defence mode the best tile to dscard is a tile identical to the one Left Lord just discarded. This isn't just safe against opponents who have declared rchi, but is safe aganst everyone, for one turn only, because of the temporary furiten rule. This makes it a better discard, even than a fourth honour, because the absolute safety only lasts one turn, a fourth honour can be kept for later. This is in Richi Book 1, page 194. Many times I see you discard a different genbutsu, or even a suji tile rather than matching Left Lord's discard. Hope this helps, keep up the good work!

15:18 East 3 - another Riichi content creator I watch said to never trust the suji of the tile laid down when Riichi is called. Of all the discarded tiles, it’s the most likely to be a suji trap. Also a personal habit: if I’ve entered tenpai with a valid yaku and need to discard a risky tile against another player’s Riichi but still want to chase it, I’ll discard the tile without calling Riichi for that turn and then call Riichi once I can lay down a safe tile. If I have no valid yaku, I’ll try to add more value to my hand, call Riichi, or stay in tenpai for exhaustive draw. Lastly, you have 4 han (7700) so betting 1K for the additional han from riichi (8000) isn’t worth it unless you want to go try going for ura or ippatsu. You’ll have a better chance getting your winning tile by going dama and there’s already a ton of value from leftover riichi sticks/repeat counters. Edit: also in 23:50 South 1, you should call riichi. Your hand has 1 han (2000 as dealer), but if you call riichi, you can bully others into staying out of tenpai and earn 2000 profit in exhaustive draw. That tsumo was hype though LOL
i played against easy bots (literally just started and didnt even have time to see my hand in 25s) and i got richi-ippatsu-tsmo-seven pairs-dora-3 ura doraed for 9 han dealer baiman. The game ended immediatly and im fed up cause i got full flush in tenpai with 2 dora. Not gonna play mahjong for a week i feel like

A man doesn't wear a cover unless the punishment for not wearing one exceeds the punishment for not taking it off.
Disheartening seeing one of the two yaku I've chased down for weeks to no avail (pure double sequence) get handed to this guy basically for free and then he gets suji trolled anyway
