    Do you like the new Legend 2.0 design? Does it really have the X-factor? Let me know your thoughts.

      No white on the inside still being kinda sad for me, since i love the look of white laptops

      @Antonio Arbona Haven't seen any options in the BIOS regarding the battery limit.

    Mine gets too hot to physically touch, even when playing mid range games. Near the base of the screen at the back, I burnt my finger on there..

    It was a very good review, you sound kind of shy but it's no problem for me, I have seen other reviews get more battery life with the 4k panel, maybe they reduce it to 1080p and turn on battery saving mode, and change the hz to 60

      Thanks man! Yep didn't do much tweaking when i tested it, wanted to show real results from normal use.

    Vote for Pedro 2022!
    Sorry man had to do it to ya :p
    All jokes aside the x17 seems pretty nice with that PS5 controller.

    Dude, pls, can u go to settings - display - advanced and look if this screen 8 or 10 bit and what HDR capabilities it has. Thx!

    • @EruThinkTech
      @EruThinkTech  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi, while HDR toggle is off the Bit depth is default to 8 and 10 when turned on. Note that you can only turn HDR on while plugged in. Hope this helps cheers!

    • @EruThinkTech
      @EruThinkTech  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Both brands are good for gaming, if cooling system is your top priority Asus will have an edge with their advanced thermal solutions

    I can see from your accent and your hand tattoos from Kalinga tribe that you are a Filipino. May I know how did you manage to get your hands on AW x17 r1? Did you use 3rd party courier? As you know, here in PH the x17 r1 is still unavailable and most likely will never be available because I heard that Dell PH will only import the X15 versions.

      Hi Anthony, I preordered mine here in sg dell website. Sorry to hear that, i think there's also a shortage worldwide. Let's hope it will become available soon!

    I was expecting to see thermals and fps while playing different games on max setting. Is the thermals hitting 100?

    • @EruThinkTech
      @EruThinkTech  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Haven't reached that temp yet avg is 75 to 85. Also you can set the TCC offset in the BIOS so that it will not throttle. Cheers!

      You may do so on the BIOS setup

    I talked to Alienware today and they confirmed that only one M.2 slot will provide gen4 speeds... Have you really tested both at the same time?

    • @EruThinkTech
      @EruThinkTech  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi currently I only have 1 gen 4 SSD and won't be able to test both slot at the same time. But I did test both slot to boot using the gen 4 SSD and confirm to have the gen 4 speeds.

    • @BURTONizAjerK
      @BURTONizAjerK 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@EruThinkTech that's awesome to know that either shot works for gen4. I ordered a 2tb 980 PRO. I'm still waiting on dell to build my x17. I can't fuckin wait.

    You know the 16 gb ram is high density ram right?

    • @EruThinkTech
      @EruThinkTech  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, here in my region it is still cheaper to buy 32 gb kit than upgrading via dell configuration. Also note that their stock 32gb is CL 22 if im not mistaken. So it gives more flexibility choosing the base configuration.

    From what I've heard is the x17 was able to go above 5 hours battery life

    • @EruThinkTech
      @EruThinkTech  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Achievable with undervolting and probably having the 1080p screen with advanced optimus.

    Do x15 have rgb trackpad?

    • @EruThinkTech

      Yes as long as the gpu is RTX 3080.

    Hey man. I have the x17 as well and I notice that the fan goes really loud whenever I'm playing a game. Is that normal? It goes 100% regardless what game I play. Is that to be expected?

    • @EruThinkTech
      @EruThinkTech  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, try changing the thermal to quiet or balanced mode. As long as the gpu is utilized expect the fan to be at 100%, I suggest using headphones for gaming.

    • @justinTime077
      @justinTime077 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Do you want your components to melt? You’ll lose performance. Eventually the laptop will break. Better to appreciate that fan power.

    I was reading only one of the SSD slots was gen 4. Is it really both? That would be awesome.

    • @EruThinkTech
      @EruThinkTech  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, both are capable of running gen 4 SSDs.
