Could not agree more. SO is still the boss, when it comes to screwdrivers, spanners, ratchets and impact swivels.
Hey doc, you should check out the Milwaukee installation driver. It's pretty awesome, I used it everyday. Anyhow, one of the head attachments for that driver allows you to get to fasteners you normally can't get to with a regular drill driver. Thanks for the great snap on toolbox series.

What happened to your Wera and PB Swiss drivers?
I love my snap on screwdrivers especially the instinct handle I have every flavor. Like using the ratcheting screwdriver because if you break the tip you just pop a new one in. 💯🔥👍👍👍👍
If you like that ratcheting stubby there is a bahco one I've had good luck with comes in a small case with bits
The smaller the handle, the more feel you got. You put a SDD8 handle on a number 8 torx and there will be a lot of stripping going on
Just got around to this video. In regards to your Craftsman short wide blade that you say Snapon doesn't make, they do make something similar. I have a 3/8" version, SGD153B. There is also a 1/2" version. They're described as being used for boat deck screws. I use it on my router table that has one diameter screw heads with wide slots.

Hey Doc- Just bought my very first rolling tool cabinet for my workshop. Now I've gotta find nice drawer liners. The ones that came with it are slick as snot.
Any good drawer liner suggestions??
There are many tool specific drawer liners, but I go to the home improvement store or even the bed, bath and beyond type store and there are excellent tacky drawer and shelf liners that you can cut to fit. There are also some materials used for folks with disabilities that keep materials in place on tables etc. That material can also be cut to fit but often costs more. The biggest issue I've run into is when the drawler liner slides around when the laden drawer is opened or closed a little too quickly.
@@lastbesttool Thanks for the suggestion, Doc. That's the kind that I went with; I figured that if I didn't like them, I was only out maybe $25. Just don't want things rolling around when I open and shut the drawers. Thanks for your videos! LOTS of great information here!
Every different ones have their perfect use. The price looks like alot 10 bucks minimum for a screwdriver but if u every work on cars or alot of rusty screws having a screwdriver head mess up the screw wastes so much time. I do find cheaper screwdrawers are good for prying plastic clips or pieces on cars due to being smaller most the time or used for beater tools

That screw driver draw gives me anxiety they have magnetic holders that stop them from jamming up your draws. The best screw driver in the world is useless if you can’t get it outa you box.
Have you tried the TMS4EK? Old school but still awesome!
I had speeder handles in the past, but rarely used one. My new school Milwaukee drivers all but eliminated any normal need I had for a speeder. And my second choice after electric is a flex head ratchet.
@@lastbesttool I actually love my speed handle, make getting stubborn screws out a breeze on inspection panels. Also doesn't cam out and really booger the screw up like a drill will.
I noticed you have a NASA emblem there!👍 I have a Screwdriver that I got from my Gramps, it is stamped NASA USA CHROME STEEL. Have you ever seen anything like that? Just wondering where it comes from or anything at all about it. Thanks!👍
I haven't seen NASA stamped tools, but I have seen Snap On roller cabs in the clean rooms at JPL and JSC. So I'm pretty sure that the engineers used Snap On tools to build the Mars Rovers.

You do realize that the size of the handle directly correlates with the fastener in the location of the fastener you may not be able to fit a large handle into an area where your hand can’t fit

Somewhat. I have been a DIYer for 40 years, and never missed an opportunity to upgrade tools, and buy a tool to try it myself. What the worst that can happen. I either fix it or the guy I hire does. But if its broke, I can't make the problem too much worse. Lots of times I hired someone to do something only to immediately think "I could have done that" or even, "I would have done that much better." So here I am, the Last Best Tool.
