@ i guess the history and archeology being taught at Legon for 4 years is wrong then. The Ottoman Empire encompasses an area that includes modern day Turkey. And yes, Turks consider themselves Arabs too. In fact that’s the border of Europe and Arab land. You need to do more research. His history is 100 % correct. And yes, Ghana empire existed in the 16-17 centuries.

Dr please with the Ottoman story, the Ghana empire existed long before the Ottoman empire and there were earlier kingdoms which had thier influence on North Africa long before the Ottomans. Some of them were the people of Carthage present day Tunis, the Romans and Abbasid Caliphate and the Umayyad Caliphate respectively. The Ottomans reached thier peak around the time the Europeans were in contact with Africa and the Ottomans never invaded France. The Ottomans began to dominate the world in 1453 when they conquered Constantinople the last remnant of the Eastern Roman empire present day Istanbul.
