From a technical, lyrical, and creative standpoint he's phenomenal. He's written more in a few years than most artists write in their entire career, and I truly hope that going forward he keeps up with it. He's just too good to not keep going with it.

Matt has helped me through so much as a musician. So intelligent and woke. Theyre definitely a unique individual and human. This shows we can use all of our hardships and difficult times and craft them into something that most can relate to. I wonder where Matt is right now, but I hope they’re still making music and happy.
I wish I could just listen to his shit without feeling so guilty. My girlfriend got me Versace summer on vinyl a while back and now every time I listen to it I just picture what he’s done and it makes me sick. It just sucks so much, he was my favorite musician
I agree with Josh. There's a thin line that separates art and artist. What he did as a person is sickening, but the music that he made was absolutely amazing. He's inspired my own music more than any other person, but I will never say what he did was OK. I don't think people should discredit the music itself, but I agree with not wanting to support him as a person because of his actions.
