    I’m running into serious problems with Sophie’s Universe. I can’t put it down! As a result my chores are getting ignored 😂😂.
    Seriously though, my curiosity is killing me. Every round is a new adventure to conquer. I don’t want to stop, I want to see what’s next...ALL the time! I love it 😊

      Me too lol. I haven't cleaned my house properly in at least a week. It's not that bad YET, but by the end of this Sophie's Universe I fear my house will be uninhabitable.

    Round 55, when the sound goes out...you have it as 63 DC, but the pattern actually calls for HDC. Thought you might want to edit that, because it confused me :/ Thank you for making these videos, they have been a great help. :)

    • @Itsallinanutshell
      @Itsallinanutshell  9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +YogaChikk Melonhead Thank you for pointing that out. It is indeed an error in the subtitles. I say just before the sound goes out to make 63 hdc. Unfortunately I cannot edit it anymore without uploading a new video to youtube which would result in all links to this video becoming broken.

    • @SafeAndSounds
      @SafeAndSounds 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      You say 63 DC here, but the video and pattern say 62 DC, I am confused, even more because I do have 63 stitches on my long side. What is the right way?@@Itsallinanutshell

    • @Itsallinanutshell
      @Itsallinanutshell  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@SafeAndSounds Please see the written pattern. I am not the designer of Sophie's Universe. The written pattern is on www.lookathwhatImade.net the videos are only to support the written pattern, not to replace it. The stitch counts are given in the written pattern.

    I love your videos, and they are very helpful. It would be helpful to me if you listed the rows and the time on the video that each row is introduced. I am really enjoying these videos...they are very easy to follow, and your commentary is very understandable...or it was.What happened to your microphone?I've got the sound turned up all the way, and I can barely hear SOUNDS, much less actual words!BTW, when to wind the yarn around the fingers of your left hand, move the yarn as close to the TIP of yor index finger as you can. Then, when you need more yarn, just wiggle that index finger, and more yarn will feed into your work.

    Creative question: would the little tulips be too much as a border of an African flower squares blanket in pastels? It's a baby blanket, ambitious I know but would it be practical?

    • @Itsallinanutshell
      @Itsallinanutshell  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      if the blanket has some texture already, the tulips will add something to it, if the blanket is flat, then it will look out of place

    The cluster at the end of the long row for row 56, it is a DC isn’t it? Because in the video, you just put through the chain 1 space and draw a loop through that, without the yarn over? So you pull through just 3 loops? I’ve just completed the row with the instructions for 3dc cluster, now I don’t know if to frog it all to change the long row clusters or leave it? HELP!

    It is almost impossible to see what stitch she is going into exactly. And this is so very important! It seems to be a combination of dark yarn, very small hook and yarn and the tightest crochet stitching I have ever seen in my 40 plus years of crocheting! This is maddening because I really want to complete this project. Help Me!!
